Garou narrowed his eyes. "Are you saying you weren't fighting seriously until now?"

Saitama moved back and forth, looking down. "Huh, I gotta find the right spot."

"What the Hell are you doing?" Garou asked, raising a brow.

"Alright, here we go," Saitama said. "Super serious series - super table flip." He grabbed the ground beneath his fingers, flipping it up. Garou cried out, the wave of energy sending him flying. His vision faded in and out, and he could no longer see the ground.

I can't see anything, Garou thought. Wait a second...

Zombieman's eyes fluttered open. He was the only S Class hero still conscious.

Where is Goddess... wait, that B class hero... he thought. Is he the man Dr. Genus spoke of? And that highschool girl near him... could she be...?

"Normal punch combo!" Saitama shouted.

Garou was boxed in, receiving punches from every corner. He crashed head-first into the ground, unable to move.

He's confusing my senses, like a child playing with an insect, Garou thought. Is he toying with me?

"What decides the match is determination," Saitama said, hands in pockets. "In the end, you weren't serious." He sighed. "Garou. Once you calm down, quit your melancholic hero hunting. Fighting with you isn't fun."

Garou saw red. ... what did he say? Did he say 'fun'? Don't fuck with me... I'm the one getting beat up. Bang's face appeared in his mind. I know, shitty old fart... I know pain.

You cannot defeat him without my help, Ayano reminded him.

Piss off, Garou thought. This isn't about you anymore! You care about nothing but power. I'll show him pain. It's something only I can do.

He sent his fist flying in Saitama's direction. Saitama grabbed his fist, slamming him into the ground. To his surprise, Garou slipped out from his grip.

I need more, Garou gritted his teeth. I'm not getting help from that stupid bitch. I'm doing this by myself.

He zoomed back and forth, debris flying everywhere. His moves were chaotic and wide-spread, unable to be detected by a regular human. He sent blow after blow in Saitama's direction, but the man simply punched him away.

More, Garou's eyes bulged. I need more... of what?! How do I beat this guy?

You need me, Ayano's voice said.

What can you do?! Garou thought. You're pretty much unconscious!

I don't need my body for this, Ayano replied. I need yours.

Garou grimaced. Saitama slammed his fist into his stomach, sending him into the sky.

It's not fair, Garou blinked heavily, crashing back into the ground. It's like that guy is made up of the world's unfairness. As if he's the personification of justice. But of course. Didn't I already know? This world is unfair. Justice and evil are decided by others. That's how the world is.

Yes, Ayano agreed. His strength is immeasurable. Every time I believe I am strong enough... he always proves me wrong.

You're not fair either, Garou thought. You're just like Raibaru. Even she didn't think much of me in the end. The truth is I'm all alone in this stupid world.
