A/N: Last extra chapter... short and sweet.
...
Saitama sighed, heavily. It had been a while, but finally, the original trio were back together again. Both his disciples were sitting in front of him, inside his City A apartment, their gazes glued to his.
"Been a while since we've all been together, huh?" Saitama chuckled.
"So, Master," Genos put his hands together. "What type of training will you be giving us today?"
Saitama sweat-beaded. Of course, he hadn't planned for any kind of formal training. In fact, he hadn't even invited his disciples over. As usual, they'd invited themselves.
Quick, think of something, Saitama told himself.
"Um..." Saitama looked around. "Today I'll be training you... about..." He scanned his apartment, looking for any kind of help.
This damn place is too big, I can't find anything! he groaned.
Genos' yellow eyes flashed. "Of course. Master Saitama is trying to get us to learn for ourselves what type of training we are doing! How intelligent!"
"Uh... yeah," Saitama nodded, shakily. "That's totally what I'm doing."
Genos narrowed his eyes again. Ayano simply kept the same blank expression as always. Saitama had to wonder about her. Of the two disciples, she was the more reserved one, but still... she had been much more quiet than usual recently.
Genos suddenly stood up, hands out. "Presence detected! It's..." He scowled. "It's that pathetic ninja."
Just as he said, Sonic came crashing through the window, landing on the floor of littered glass.
"SAITAMA!" he growled. "FINALLY, I HAVE GATHERED THE STRENGTH TO-"
"BEGONE!" Genos roared, blasting him with a ray of energy. Sonic lunged out of the way.
"Still letting these little lackeys hang around, eh, Saitama?" Sonic teased.
"Aw, come on, Seed-on-the-ground," Saitama grumbled. "Look what you did to my window!"
Sonic saw red. "My name is SPEED-O'-SOUND SONIC!" He charged towards Saitama. Genos appeared before him, grabbing his leg, which pulled him back. The two proceeded to wrestle on the floor.
"Come on, Genos, I thought these corny street-fights weren't your thing," Saitama sighed.
"Forgive me, master," Genos said, avoiding Sonic's leg. "I must take out this vermin for you!"
Genos knocked Sonic out of the smashed window and chased after him, gold flashing after black. Saitama sighed, staring at Ayano.
"There they go again," he shook his head. "Anyway, quick question, Yan-chan: do you prefer hot pots with chicken or beef?"
Before Ayano could respond, there was a knock on the door. Ayano went to get it; in came Fubuki, expression drawn back.
"Saitama," she greeted, arms folded across her chest. "Listen, I have something very serious I want to talk about with you."
"Uh, sure," Saitama crossed his legs. "What is it?"
"As you know, the Hero Association is failing," Fubuki sat down at the table, opposite him.
"It is?" Saitama asked.
Fubuki glowered at him. "Saitama, have you been paying attention to the news at all?"
"Sure I have," Saitama shrugged. "But I don't think it's failing. I mean, the Hero Association is still going, right?"
Fubuki groaned. "That's true, but what I'm trying to say is, the Hero Association is-"
