PRESENT DAY....
HOMECOMING week starts today as the school is about "team spirit" and winning the football game tonight, and let me just say this week is not all glam and glouris for anyone but Artemis Crock, and Cindy Burman. Because Artemis Crock is to help win the football game for the whole team and for her to have a chance with the NFL. And Cindy Burman because she is bound to be homecoming Queen for the second year in a row; with her boyfriend Henry King who is supposed to be homecoming King.
Upon waking up and thinking about homecoming I started stretching as my shoulder was fully healed from a week ago. As I woke up with good hair which wasn't that tangled; surprisingly. And I was able to start getting ready easier as I grabbed a pair of my red sports bras and leggings as I quickly put them on as I slid on my sneakers. Tying up my hair in a quick high ponytail as I headed downstairs. Smiling, I grabbed myself some water and a quick banana before I started heading for the door.
"Heading out at 7am in that McKenna." My mother said as I smiled, "I'm going on a run." I told her as she smiled and I headed out the door without hearing another word from her. When I started running I ran through the forest feeling everything from the wind, to the sounds of nature calling but slower, the world just felt for a moment...slower. Everything wasn't even moving an inch when I saw it from the leaves that were falling off the trees to the water not even running from the small creek.
