Riot:

When I woke up Tank was still asleep.
I hadn’t even noticed we fell asleep again. Normally, once I was awake, I couldn’t fall asleep again.
We both lay with our backs to the outer side of the bed.
He had held my hand tightly and had pulled it to his chest. His mouth was slightly opened and I could hear his quiet regular breath. I had to smile. He looked so peaceful and cute.
With my free hand, I carefully stroked over his high cheekbones trying not to wake him up.
His skin was incredibly soft and almost shone in the dimmed light coming through the window. I didn't think he’d been out a lot in the past few years.
I sighed quietly and drove my fingers through his hair.
They were always in his eyes, but it looked kind of hot. Especially when his green eyes glowed through the strands and stared at me penetratingly.
I smiled more when Tank crimped his nose and pressed his eyes together.
My plan not to wake him up definitely worked. I’m a genius.

He slowly opened his eyes and blinked. His iris came out unnatural clear because his eyes were still reddened from crying.
"So that’s what you do when I’m asleep?" He murmured with his dark morning voice and let go of my hand to rub the tiredness out of his eyes. I laughed quietly.
"The view couldn’t be better" I explained and winked. ( I flirt professional)
Tank only rolled his eyes but his cheeks had become a little red.
"How late is it?" he asked and looked around disoriented. That was a good question.
He turned to the small table next to the bed and took his phone in his hand.
"Twelve thirty..." He looked at me smiling. "You actually slept longer than 3 minutes."
I nodded and pretended it to be my most proud achievement in a long time.
"I’m so proud" Tank sat up and kissed me gently. I put my hand on his cheek and smiled while kissing back.

I followed him with my eyes when he got up and walked to the bathroom.
I had now also realized what the little tattoo on his hip was: an anonymous mask. I liked it but the pattern on his arm was much better. His tattoos really turned me on. In addition, these muscles and the sparkle in his eyes. The messy hair. Simply everything about him.
Tank stopped at the door and turned around with a smirk on his lips.
"I'm gonna take a shower" He said and drove his finger through his hair so that they wouldn't hang into his forehead. They felll back immediately.
"Wanna come with me?" He smiled when I stood up and he disappeared in the bathroom, dragging me with him.

Tank:

"You can’t be serious"
I shook my head as I watched Riot stunnedly.
"Yes I am"
He nodded and put his hands together as if he were a lawyer who just had to win an important case.
"The last Jedi was not as bad as they always say"
We sat on my couch and watched – who would've thought – Star was.
It was only noon and so it was actually too early for movies and pizza, but we didn’t really care.
I had put my head in Riot’s lap and shook it over and over again in disbelief and disappointment. Riot looked down at me smiling.
Obviously, he liked to get me completely upset. He played with my hair – once again – and tried to defend his theory that Star wars 8 hadn’t been that bad at all with everything he had.

"How can you say that? Do we watch the same movie?" I asked and grabbed the envelope of the film to check that out. Riot slappe the back of my head for that.
"I mean... Yes of course..."
Riot bent over and took another piece of pizza. "They are by far not as good as episodes 4 to 6"
I nodded and breathed relieved.
"But he doesn’t deserve the hate he gets"
"Please stop talking" I smiled slightly but I was truly shocked.
Riot rolled his eyes smiling and offered me a piece too. I gave him my plate.
"It's so sad that Finn and Poe weren't endgame", he murmured, and I agreed with a strong nod.

We watched the film silently for a while – I moaned on and on annoyed – before I turned my head back to him and plucked his sleeve.
He finally wore short-sleeved clothes. His bruises were almost all gone.
"I have to confess something to you"
Riot pulled up his eyebrows and looked down at me.
"Okay?" I had to laugh at his serious facial expression.
"Nothing bad. I just think we might have to leave the house to go shopping. We have almost nothing left"
Riot sighs.
"Sure? I mean, we still have... almost half a pizza. With a little self-control, that’s enough for two more days. In addition, we can also re-order"
I laughed.
"It’s not going to kill us to go outside"
"You don’t know that. Maybe a closet falls on your head as soon as you get out of the house"
I frowned confused my forehead.
"Why the fuck should a closet fall on my head?"
"Two words" He looked at me serious.
"Final Destination"
I shook my head grinning.
"You’ve watched too many movies" He just shrugged his shoulders.

I leaned up a little and quickly pulled his head down to me to kiss him.
"Do you want to bribe me?" he whispered quietly.
"Maybe. Is it working?" I smiled.
"Maybe" I kissed him again.
He still had his eyes closed and smiled wide.
"Okay... it works. But that’s not fair play, Mister" I chuckled.
"We’ve been in here for almost a whole weekend..."
"Yes, that’s right. The emphasis is on almost"
"You’re so lazy"
He just nodded smiling, put the plates on the table and bent over me.
We had completely forgotten the film.

Riot complained before we even got out.
"You're a mean manipulator", he muttered, taking my hand furiously. I had to smile because it looked really cute.
I opened the door and chased him out.
The sunlight dazzled me briefly but alone as Riot's hand suddenly cramped, I realized that something was wrong.
We weren't alone.
On the sidewalk in front of my home, there were at least ten police officers in special equipment, all of them had pointed their weapons at us.
My breath flattened and I looked briefly at Riot. He didn't look scared, just surprised and overwhelmed.

"Put your hands up" a woman said. She was the only one dressed in a suit and seemed to be in charge here.
"You’re under arrest"
I found my voice first.
"For what reason?" I asked. My voice wasn’t as strong as I had hoped.
"Preventing police work is only one of many reasons" , she said and looked at me arrogantly.
I raised my eyebrows.
"Oh really?"
She nodded.
"You are..." She gave Riot briefly a glance for which even the word despisingly would still have been too friendly.
"This group of self-proclaimed... heroes?"
"We have no idea what you’re talking about" Riot answered softly.
"You don't? Riot? That’s what they call you, isn’t it?"
Riot looked up at me for a second.
"Just leave us alone" I said. "I guess you waited at the wrong house.
"Of course. Our mistake. Arrest them"
Two cops broke out of the semicircle and approached us.
"Hands up and apart" one ordered and waved around with his gun.
We were slow to do what he told us to do.
My hands were shaking a bit.
"If you move, we’ll have to shoot" the woman said, smiling. She seemed very satisfied with herself.

I shook my head arrogantly and laughed.
"You're kidding." I smiled. They couldn't do anything to us without real proof. We didn't hide our faces for nothing.
I was so sure they wouldn't do anything further. I looked at Riot. He had his hands entangled behind his head and seemed unnaturally pale. He gave me a quick look and I knew he thought the same thing I did.
How did they know my address?
How did they know we were the right ones?
My thoughts were a mess and everything inside me screamed. I knew someone betrayed us. But I couldn't imagine who.

"Okay, one last time" I started and tried to stop my voice from shaking. I noticed how Riot slightly shook his head to stop me but I didn't even think about it. I let my hands sink and opened my mouth.
"We don't know anything about-"
Bang!

The shot was quieter than I imagined.
At first I didn't feel anything. But then the pain hit me like a brutal wave.
I wavered and fell to the ground.
Somethingelse added. Numbness. It felt like something reached out to me to take me with it.
My vision got blurry as my body collapsed completely, dragging me into the darkness.

Riot:

"Please, Tank, look at me!" I screamed and fought back as good as I could while I resisted the men who turned my arms on my back and wanted to drag me away.
A voice sounding far far away said something to me.
I couldn't understand it.
"Stop....we'll do it again....necessary..." I didn't listen to the words.
I felt tears running down my cheeks making me almost blind.
My stomach felt like it was going to jump out of my body at any moment. At first I thought the shot only hit the shoulder but Tank didn't move. Not even a twitch or a moan.
"No! Please, we...T-Tank!" My voice broke.
"Y-you need to help him, you need to...no, let me go-" Someone hit me in the face and I saw black for a few seconds.
My legs were shaking so hard I was about to collapse as I stared at Tanks body lying on the ground with no sign of life. The only thing moving was the little puddle of blood beneath him that was slowly spreading.
