"Okay, but like ...... What if Earth is, like, one of those uncontacted tribes in South America? Like, what if the whole Galaxy knows we exist but they've just chosen not to contact us."

The girl sat with her legs crossed on the heated seat as she leaned back against the headrest, her high heeled stilettos long discarded on the black floor mats of the Bugatti La Voiture Noire. Her hair was now tied up in a messy bun, random strands of hair having been blown out by the strong wind to perfectly frame her face and make her features look even more stunning than they already were.

Her report had been accepted and by the next week they had already found and bought a substantial amount of land in Changsin-dong to build a hospital. In fact, at the moment they were on their way back home after a meeting that had stretched on for four hours with the mayor of Changsin-dong about the new facilities they were planning to establish and how they could help to upgrade the living conditions of all the citizens. After hearing about all their plans, everyone watched as Mayor Jeong struggled to hold back his tears as he thanked everyone repeatedly.

The news spread fast around the city and, somehow, by the end of the meeting, they were met with a large crowd of people holding all kinds of goods as they stood outside the hall doors. By the time everyone had reached their cars, they were holding more than twenty different snacks in their hands. It's safe to say that the idea was a definite success.

A deep, rumbling chuckle reverberated around the car as the car came to a smooth halt at the red light. Jisung looked over at the girl, who had replaced her crisp white shirt and pencil skirt with denim shorts and a hoodie that swallowed up her lithe figure.

He smiled at her, that wide, gummy smile that exposed his twinkling white teeth. The smile that would make anyone who looked at it smile back just as hard. The smile that was always accompanied by twinkling eyes that would scrunch up. The smile that he had started wearing a lot more now. Now that Crystal was around. Of course, she wouldn't know that because that smile was only produced when they were alone, together. When they could both drop the act and be their true selves, just a couple of teenagers that had become a part of the real world too soon for their own good.

He turned back to the road in front of him, leaning back and getting comfortable in his seat as he held the steering wheel loosely, "How do you even come up with all this stuff?" he asked softly.

"No, no, no! Listen," she said as she turned around in her seat to face him, unconsciously reaching for his hand that rested on the gear stick between their seats, placing hers on top of his, "There's literally so, so, so much proof that there is extraterrestrial life in the universe. What if the only reason they don't visit Earth is that they can't breath oxygen? Or, what if they're allergic to humans? Or what if they're just introverted and like to keep to themselves?!"

Her statements were, once again, met with chuckles as Jisung flipped over his hand and intertwined his fingers with hers. "Or, what if we've been searching the wrong places and they actually live on the big balls of gas we call stars, hmm?" he replied, watching as her eyes twinkled at the new idea.

"Oh my god, yes! And if they came to Earth they would freeze to death or die of asphyxiation because stars are mainly made up of hydrogen and less than one percent of the Earth's atmosphere is hydrogen!" she exclaimed excitedly.

He just watched her, his gaze softening tremendously as he watched her bounce up and down in her seat. Her rambling only a soft tune in his ears as he watched her long eyelashes flutter as she blinked and her hand tighten in his as she animatedly talked about her ideas.

Damn, I could get used to this.
