"What are you doing?" he almost instantly asked as he stepped into the office, his own office. Only to be met with the sight of his secretary sitting in his expensive, leather, spinning chair. Her hair tied up in a somewhat neat, high ponytail. Her bangs fell out of her scrunchie to frame her face as she stopped scribbling in his calendar to look up at him with a smile.
"Heyyyy boss." she drawled, straightening up before leaning back to look up at him, "Aha what's up?"
He only sighed before looking down at the calendar on his desk, only to see the words 'DATE NIGHT!' written on the date two days from now in dark red ink with colourful hearts surrounding it. He chuckled, his lips almost unconsciously pulling up at the corners before he willed them down into a straight line, "I thought you said inter-office dating was stupid."
She snickered, grinning up at him as you spoke, "Well, I mean yeah, but I also thought hot, young CEOs only existed in movies and dramas but the more you know, I guess." she shrugged.
"So you think I'm hot?" his lips quirked up in a smirk as he looked at her in amusement.
She raised an eyebrow at him before giving him a once-over and smirking, "Well, I have two working eyes and I'm straight so yeah, no shit."
Her confidence was met with an almost instant blush taking over his face as he looked away from her, mumbling incoherently to himself before turning back to her and placing his hands on the table between them.
"What if..." he glanced around his office as if he thought there was someone hiding in the room before, looking her in the eyes and moving closer so that their noses were almost touching, "We go on that date right now?"
She instantly snorted, moving back as she turned the chair and got up, "You're funny." she stated simply, starting to make her way towards the door.
His smile dropped and he let out a groan, walking after her, "I'm being serious! C'mon, let's go before anyone finds out." he begged, grabbing onto her hand and swinging her around.
She smirked up at him before grabbing his hand and squeezing it between both of hers, "Nice try. I know you're only saying that 'cause you don't wanna work and as your secretary I'm gonna have to tell you to give up. Now get started on your work." she ordered, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek before walking out the door and slamming it behind herself, not even bothering to look back at the boy she knew was standing there paralysed.
She did, however, watch from her table which was parallel to the glass wall in the CEOs office as he unfroze, finally processing what had happened before groaning again and stomping towards his table, almost tripping over the edge of his carpet. She smiled bemusedly as he turned to glare at the carpet, mumbling angrily with a small pout on his lips before finally turning and seating himself behind his table and opening his files.
So this is love, huh? Guess I could get used to it.
