Chapter 2: Tension

Anna's Pov

We finally arrived at my house and took her bags upstairs to the guest room. She started looking around the room and touching everything then looked back at me. She smiled as she sat down on the bed. I joined her and we talked for a while before heading down to downstairs for dinner. My brother seemed really eager to see ag and so did my mom. I'm really glad they're getting along. Watching her talk to my family so naturally really made me feel more attracted to her then I already was. After dinner we headed back upstairs to my room to make some tik toks. As we finished up we got into my bed, turned on my TV to Netflix and started binge watching American Horror Story. I wasn't really interested in the show, my eyes were fixed on ag.  my mind was racing with the thought of our lips colliding, her skin against mine, I'm literally longing for her touch. She noticed that I wasn't paying attention to the show and looked back at me. "how come you're not watching  it?" " Sorry I'm just thinking about some stuff" she gave me a concerned look and started shuffling her body to face me. "about what bub?" I melt everytime she calls me that. I really don't know what to do with this girl." oh nothing, just the thought of your touch on my body. " it's nothing serious I promise" "You sure?" she says giving me a reassuring look. I smiled at her, I love how caring she is. she took my hand and started rubbing it with her thumb. I felt my heart explode like fireworks. I looked into her eyes, getting lost as I took my other hand and layed it on her face and started to lean into her lips. This is it, it's finally happening. The moment I've been waiting for. Our lips are just inches away from meeting each other then suddenly there was a knock on the door. It was my mom, she wanted to check up on us. Startled by noise we both backed up and I went over to the door to open it. "hey mom what's up?" "Nothing, I was just stopping by to check on you kids. Are you guys having fun?" "yeah we're having a grand old time. We're just watching some TV shows, nothing big." "ok well, have fun. If you need anything I'm downstairs ok?" "ok thanks mom." I shut the door behind me and got back in the bed with ag. The rest of the night was pretty awkward, Ag got up and headed to her room when the show was over. She said goodnight then shut the door. I lied on my back, staring at my ceiling. Damn it. 

Ag's pov:
I shut the door behind me and plopped myself on to the bed sighing. I was so close, I should've  hurried up. Now I probably won't get that same opportunity again. I hear my phone go off and I reached for it off of the nightstand. I opened it up and saw that mia texted me.

So how's Michigan so far?

It's pretty great, I really like it here.

Did you make a move?

Not necessarily, we almost kissed tho but her mom interrupted us.

Damn, that's tuff😬

Ik and now I won't be able to do that again.

Sure you will. You gotta be patient. When the time comes, it will come. And when it does, try not to take your sweet time.

I put my phone in charge and went to sleep.
