Chapter 6: Night Sky

4 days later

Ag's pov:

I decided to take Anna on a little date today since we haven't gone on one yet. I planned the entire thing beforehand. The next day we were driving to the beach to go swimming. After doing that, we got ice cream then drove to the park. I had a weird feeling that we were being followed but I brushed it off. Anna was my main focus right now. Once we got there it was already dark. I took a blanket and layed it on the grass. We both lied down on our backs watching the stars. I turn to Anna, watching her eyes sparkle in the night sky. She is so beautiful, how did I ever get so lucky?

She noticed me staring and looked back at me smiling, "why do you keep staring at me?"

"what, I can't admire what's mine?" she blushed and looked away.

The cool summer breeze, the crickets chirping and fireflies made the moment even more special. We continued pointing at the sky and having deep conversations for what seemed like forever. I could see Anna was getting a little bit tired but she was trying to hide it.

" Hey Anna, I know leave in a few more days and I want to make these last few days very special. You mean the world to me and I just want to let you know how special you are. Words can't explain how much I love and care about you. Your well-being is the first thing I think of. I won't let anything come between us. We may live far from each other and I won't be able to visit all the time but you can guarantee I will never go behind your back and cheat on you. If you ever doubt the amount of love I have for you just count the stars and until you can't anymore. That is how much I love you. It's infinite."

Anna was completely red from the confession I gave her. It was cute.

"Ag, I don't even know what to say right now." she let out a small laugh.

"I will never doubt if you love me or not because I know you do. You may not say it a lot but you show it through your actions. You're an amazing person and you care about everyone you love. Your personality is unmatched. It's like I'm falling in love with you all over again whenever I look at you. You don't have to plan big dates to make me feel special. Little things like this is ok with me. I love you with every atom in my body. You make me feel special through the littlest things. I trust you a lot and I know you will never cheat on me. Hell, you don't even have the guts to kill a spider. But i'll be waiting patiently for you whenever you come visit me."

" Let's make it a promise then." I said as I sat up with my arm. Anna nodded at the idea.

" I promise to never take you for granted and cherish what we have" I said.

" I promise as well" she says.

I planted a light kiss on her lips and took her into my arms as we continued looking at the stars. She soon fell asleep and I carried her to the car as we drove back to the house. We got home and I put her in bed and I kissed her forehead before closing her room door.
