Chloe's P.O.V.
Iroh and I walked over to Zuko. We were both concerned for him.
"Is everything okay? It's been almost an hour and you haven't given the men an order?" Iroh asked him concerned.
Zuko didn't look away from the water.
"I don't care what they do," Zuko spoke.
"Don't give up hope yet. You will find the Avatar before Zhao," Iroh tried to encourage him.
Zuko turned to face him. Desperation and fear crossing his face.
"How Uncle? With Zhao's resources it's just a matter of time before he captures the Avatar -"
He turned back to the sea.
"My honor - my throne - my country - I'm about to lose them all,"
I sighed as I looked at him. I wish I could fix him. In a soft gesture I put my hand on his shoulder. Zuko only slightly acknowledged me by moving his hand closer to me. An idea crossed me, but it was devious and extremely dangerous.
Later that night. . .
I sighed as I walked out to Zuko. He noticed I was there, but he didn't turn around.
"I can't believe it. After all my time hunting the Avatar, I lose to Admiral Zhao. - I'm never going to be able to return home now. - And my father will never accept me," Zuko spoke ashamed.
I closed my eyes for a split second taking in a breath. I walked closer to him.
"I know how you can get the Avatar back from Zhao," I said to him.
A hopeful, confused look crossed Zuko's eyes as he looked at me.
"How?" he asked in a hopeful tone.
"Disguise yourself -"
I sighed in annoyance - at myself.
"Make sure no one knows it you - Sneak into the Fire Nation - Rescue Aang -"
I turned away from Zuko, so I didn't have to look at him as I finished:
"Make sure Zhao doesn't know where you go - And capture the Avatar yourself."
Zuko was quiet for a minute. He started to walk away from me, only to stop and stand there for a minute. He walked back, over to me, standing next to me as close as he possibly could. He put his hand on my shoulder turning me to face him.
"I thought you didn't want to help me capture him," Zuko said to me slightly confused.
I closed my eyes turning my head away from him.
"I don't - But our friendship is too important to me to just throw away like that - You're too important too me," I told him.
Zuko put his fingers underneath my chin. He gently turned my head towards him.
