I walk over to Josh's house. Me, him and Emilio became best friends quickly. I knock on his door and a few minutes later, Josh appeared.
"What's up, Smith?"
"Josh, there's something that I need to get off of my chest and it's been bothering me for a while."
"Sure! Come on in, man. You came to the right guy. So what's up?"
"I...I think I'm in love with Lori."
He stares at me for a while and he grins. "Ooooh I just knew that you had a thing for her, man."
"Yeah. Just promise me not to tell her. I know she's not ready to date yet."
"Sure, but I got to let you in on one thing, dude."
"Yeah?" He leans in closer with a serious face and I get scared a little bit.
"If you hurt her in any way, shape or form, directly or indirectly, physically or mentally, I'm coming after you. Believe me. You can ask Will. I love Lori and if anyone hurts my little princess, they will experience real hurt. She's like a little sister to me."
"Don't worry, dude. I promise, I won't hurt her. I love her too much to do anything like that."
He relaxes a little and I exhale. Someone knocks on the door. Josh gets up and opens the door.
"Hey, my little princess."
"Hey, Josh."
Lori walks in and smiles at me. She's wearing a pink and yellow sundress with matching ballet flats. I smile back at her.
"Hi Lori."
"Hey Trey." she runs up and hugs me. I wrap my arms around her and I breathe in her sweet perfume. She turns toward Josh.
"Josh can I speak to you in the kitchen for a minute."
"Sure, princess."
~Lori's POV~
"What's up, princess?"
"I think I'm falling for...."
