Chapter 23

~Lori's POV~

When I woke up, the sun was shinning in my face. Last night, I had a dream about Trey. My mother was in it. I think she was trying to tell me that Trey was telling the truth. Jessica kissed him.

I started crying. I miss Trey so much but I'm afraid to go back to him. I got up, packed my things and walked to Ella's house.

I unlocked the door and went in my room. I showered, changed my clothes and did my hair. I walked to school and went to my class. I ignored everyone today. Well almost everyone.

As I sat down in the cafeteria next to Josh, they all gave me a shocking look.

"What?" I said.

"Where the fuck were you?" Josh asked.

"Huh?"

"We looked all over for you yesterday. Where were you?" Emilio said.

"I...I..."

"You what?" Josh said raising his voice. I looked down.

"Don't you know that we looked all over the fucking town! We stayed up 'til 11:30 pm looking for your ass. Now where did your ass ran out to?" He said his voice raising higher.

I got up and there were tears in my eyes. "DON'T YOU FUCKING GET IT JOSH?! I RAN AWAY! I RAN AWAY FROM YOU AND FROM ELLA AND FROM EMILIO AND FROM EVERYBODY ELSE WHO DIDN'T GIVE A DAMN BECAUSE YOU WERE ACTING LIKE ASSHOLES! I WAS PISSED BECAUSE NO ONE WANTS ME! NO ONE WANTS ME AROUND! I BET IT WILL BE BETTER ON Y'ALL THAT I NEVER EVEN EXIST! I HAVE NO FAMILY LEFT! YOU HEAR ME, NONE! MY DAD'S IN JAIL, MY MOTHER IS DEAD AND MY BROTHER IS SOMEWHERE IN NEW YORK! HOW DO YOU THINK THAT MAKES ME FUCKING FEEL?!?! HUH, JOSH?!?! LONELY, RIGHT?!?! DAMN STRAIGHT!!!!" I yelled and ran away. Ella, Josh and Emilio had a shocked look on their face but I didn't give a damn. Trey walked in while I was talking and I also saw his expression change, but who gives a damn? Oh yeah that's right, no one gives a damn about Lori Banks!

I started crying as I ran down the hall. I heard someone running after me.

"Lori! Lori please wait!"
