Chapter 9

~Lori's POV~

I go downstairs to open the door. I see Trey standing there wearing the Off-Court Style outfit that I helped him find at the mall. He smiles at me.

"Good morning, love."

"Good morning" I said as he kisses my cheek. "Why are you so dressed up at this early hour?"

"We're going out for breakfast."

"Geez, I really wished you would've told me that yesterday before I went and stayed up at 11:30 last night. I would've set my alarm clock."

"Wow, someone's cranky this morning" he said as he followed me upstairs to my room. I went in my wardrobe and pulled out my light blue Flirty & Fun Sundress with matching ballet flats. I went to my bathroom and I changed into my clothes. I styled my hair (half up half down) and brushed my teeth. I applied light make-up on. I get out of the bathroom and Trey looks at me.

"You look beautiful."

"Thank you. And you look charming yourself." He held out his arm and I slip my hand inside. We get on his motorcycle and we're at Denny's.

"You ready, babygirl?"

"Yeah."

We order our food and wait patiently. We sit in silence until Trey breaks the silence.

"So...tell me more about yourself, Lori."

"Okay....uh my birthday is on June 26th. My favorite color is pink. I'm very childish and bubbly and playful. I'm very smart. My favorite flowers are daisies and of course, I'm a singer.

He smiles. "Anything else?"

"Oh um I love to wear my hair in this style" I said as I pointed to my head.

"I can tell I mean because I never see you wear your hair in a different style but it's cute. Keep going."

I giggle. "Oh and I have an older brother."

"You do?" He asks. I nod.

"His name's Frankie. He's eleven years older than me."

"Does he live with you and your parents?"

"No. He lives in New York."

"Cool."

"What about you?" I asked him.

"No siblings just parents. My favorite color is blue and I'm a bad boy with a sweet personality" he winks at me and I giggle.

The waiter finally approaches with our breakfast. We eat and talk. After we finish eating, the waiter comes with our check. As I pull out my wallet and about to take some money out, Trey stops me.

"I got this, babygirl" he said as he hands his money up to the waiter. "Keep the change."

We get out and get on his motorcycle. A while later he pulls up at his house.

"Want to come inside and watch a movie with me?"

"Sure. I'll be right back" I said as I run into the house. I change out of my clothes and I change into my Sunkissed outfit. It's a pink applebottom type of shirt with some shorts. I meet him outside waiting for me.

"I had to go change into more comfortable clothes."

"Okay. Come on, babygirl" he said as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and we walk inside his house.
