Chapter 8

~Trey's POV~

I park the motorcycle and we get off. I grab Lori's hand and we walk towards the flower field. I sit down on the ground that is surrounded by flowers and I pull Lori down in my lap. She gazes off at the sunset.

"Lori?"

"Hm?"

"I...I'm in love with you." She looks at me, stunned.

"I was afraid to tell you because I know that you're not ready to move on yet." She smiles at me.

"Well I'm glad that you love me because I'm falling for you, too."

I smile and I kiss her forehead and we both gaze at the sunset. I drive us back to my place.

"Why aren't your parents never here?"

"My mom left us and my dad is always away on business trips."

"Oh."

"Yeah."

She smiles at me and hugs me. I hug her back and whispers in her ear "I love you."

She looks up at me. "I love you, too."

"Say it again."

"I love you, Trey." I kiss her and picks her up bridal style. I lay her down on the couch and I kiss her deeply in the mouth as she wraps her arms around my neck. She pulls away and I look at her. God, she's so beautiful. I tuck a piece of her loose hair behind her ear and she blushes. I kiss her cheek and I sit up.

"Trey?"

"Hm?"

She climbs in my lap and I nestle her. "That's what you wanted?" She smiles and nods.

"You're too much" I said as I chuckle.

She kisses me then runs outside. I run after her. I see her with the water hose and I see a smirk on her face.

"Don't you dare!"

She turns on the water and runs after me with the hose. She sprays me with the water.

"Oh you're so on" I said as I ran after her she drops the hose and I spray her. She screams and giggles. I drop the hose and she runs after me. She tackles me to the ground and she's on top of me. She bends down and kisses me. I kiss her back and she pulls away. She gets off of me.

"Okay. Get up, lazy ass" she said as she helps me up.

"Go on a date with me tomorrow night." She nods

She walks to her house. "Oh, and Lori?"

"Yeah?"she asks.

"Wear something sexy." I smirked at her.
