Chapter 28

I hit the alarm button and got up. I hurried up and got ready. I walked to school and got to first period. I take my notes for my test next Friday. I run into Trey and our eyes met.

~Trey's POV~

I look into Lori's chocolate eyes. Wow she has very pretty eyes. I really want to kiss her but I know that she doesn't want to kiss me. I look sad and step to the side to let her pass by. She gets in the classroom and I follow her. She sits in the front as I sit in the back.

I try so hard to focus in class but I can't seem to get Lori out of my head. I mean, she's still special to me. I'm like yeah, I'm a badass and I sleep with other girls and I do illegal things from time to time. But I never knew that I can have a big affection on one girl. Lori. It's a good feeling though.

The bell rings and I jumped out of my seat. Lori is still putting her things in her backpack.

"Uh Lori?" I said once she finishes putting her things away.

"Yeah?"

"Would you mind if I take you back to the flower field again?" Please let her say yes.

"Oh...um...yeah I guess so." She said.

I smile. "Good let's go. But first I'll go to Pizzeria and we can share a pizza?"

She smiles back at me. Oh how much I missed that smile. "I would love to."

We walk to my car and go to Pizzeria. We order a large pepperoni pizza and a sprite soda cans. We drive to the flower field and we walk to the meadow of flowers with the food and drinks. We sit down and start eating.

"So Trey...what have you been up to?" Lori said after finishing a slice and gets a sip of her sprite.

"Nothing much. You know, still being a badass. Still on my little flirtation." I said teasingly. But it is true though.

She laughs. "That figures." She said as she gazes off.

"Lori?"

"Yeah?"

"Will you ever forgive me?"

She looks at me. "It wasn't my fault. Jessica came on to me and tried to kiss me. I pushed her off and told her that you was with me. Obviously she didn't care and she kissed me."

I see her facial expression tense a little.

"Lori?"
