"love when you're ready."
"Casey and Logan should be here soon." I told Rose as she put on her makeup in the bathroom mirror. I had decided I couldn't go to this party without my best friends so I invited them.
"Do you think they'll like me?" She asked me, turning around and leaning on the bathroom counter.
"I think it'd be impossible for someone not to like you." I said honestly.
She shrugged and turned around. She grabbed some tube thing and started putting it on her eye lashes. "You don't know me well enough to say that, Owen."
I frowned. She was right though. I didn't know her well enough to say that. I didn't even know her birthday or really anything about her. She could be a serial killer for all I knew. She turned around after she closed the tube thing and threw her hands out to show off her finished look.
"How do I look?" She asked smiling.
She looked breath taking. "Y-you look-" I was cut off.
"Hot damn." I whipped around and saw that Casey had let himself into my room, Logan following shortly after.
I rolled my eyes at the two. "Is that a girl?" Logan asked even though he knew fully well Rose is a girl. He was just trying to embarrass me.
"There's absolutely noway a girl this attractive is hanging out with you." Casey laughed.
"Well, way because I'm this attractive," Rose shook her hips playfully. "and hanging out with him." She finished. Casey plopped down on my bed and looked between the two of us. "Since when did you two start hanging out?" He asked, suspiciously eyeing Rose.
"Since this week." I replied nonchalantly. "Let's go." I said to everyone, not wanting the conversation to get awkward.
We all made our way out of my room and met up with Cameron and Tanner in the living room. All of us looked at each other and I noticed Tanner's eyes lingered on Rose a minute longer than needed. I gave him a dirty look even though he was paying no mind to me. I don't know why him looking at her made me so jealous, we weren't even together and she could date whoever she wanted. Even Tanner. I pushed the thoughts to the back of my head and cleared my throat.
"Should we uh get going?" I asked everyone.
"Yeah, lets go." Tanner led the way to his car. There were six of us and five seats. Casey and Logan both walked here since they live down the street, so they didn't have a car.
"We can't all fit." Cameron said stating the obvious.
Rose grabbed my hand. "That's okay. I can just sit in Owen's lap." She smiled up at me.
