I woke up in a room I didn't recognize. I sat up in the bed and looked around. The bed sheets were white and the walls were grey. I ran a hand through my hair and sighed. Where the hell am I? I heard the door open and I looked up to see Jenna walking into the room with a towel wrapped around her body. She must've just taken a shower.
"Good morning." She said cheerily.
I went to speak, but my throat was dry and my head was pounding. I cleared my throat, "Good morning." I said back with a groggy voice.
Jenna dropped her towel and I quickly looked away. "Your little friend, Rose, really is something." Jenna said looking back at me. "I'm dressed."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Well, last night she got super drunk and stripped in front of the whole party." She said. My eyes widened. "She is so lucky that nobody we know would have been there. She'd never live that down."
"Did people take pictures?" I asked her scared of what her answer would be.
"Shockingly no. I looked around and didn't see anyone take out their phones. Everyone was pretty drunk when this all went down." She shrugged. "I went over to help her put her clothes back on and after I got them on she poured a drink on me."
"She did that?" I asked with a shocked expression.
"Yeah. I didn't take it to heart though. I was more so worried about getting her home and you too." She said. "But then you two started arguing, so I decided to take you here and I helped her get tucked in at yours."
Jenna did all of that for someone she didn't even know. Rose pouring a drink on her is a little confusing considering she was helping her, but she was also probably out of it. I got out of the bed and stretched my whole body.
"I'm sorry you had to do all that." I said to Jenna as she brushed her hair.
"It's okay." She shrugged. "It was pretty adventurous for me." She chuckled.
I laughed along with her. "I should probably go home." I said looking at her clock and seeing that it was 12:00pm.
"I'll give you a ride." She smiled at me.
- Rose's POV -
"Where is Owen?" I asked Casey and Logan who were both sitting at the counter.
Casey grabbed his hair and pulled on it. "Quit yelling woman."
I heard the front door open right when I was about to say something. I ran to the foyer and stopped when I saw Owen and that girl. I rolled my eyes when I heard them laughing at something. Owen locked the door behind him and turned around to see me standing there.
"Oh. Hey, Rose." He said with an awkward smile. The hell does he feel awkward for? I should be the one feeling awkward.
"Hi." I replied bluntly. I wasn't in the mood already and just knowing he went home with that girl made my blood boil.
The redhead girl stepped forward and waved her hand with a smile on her face. "I'm Jenna." She said. "It's nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too." I said with a clearly fake smile on my face.
"Is anyone hungry?" I heard from behind me. Logan was standing there with an awkward look on his face.
I nodded. "I am."
"I could eat some food." Jenna said right after me. We both went into the kitchen.
- Owen's POV -
Logan looked at me after Jenna and Rose went into the kitchen. "That was awkward." He said, the pitch in his voice raising slightly.
"Yeah. Rose is acting pretty weird." I said.
"Dude. You are so clueless." Logan laughed. "Some girls like to claim guys even if they don't like them like that, so when another girl that clearly does like you comes along, they get territorial." He finished.
"Jenna doesn't like me." I said shaking my head.
"You are the second dumbest person I know behind Casey." Logan rolled his eyes and walked into the kitchen. I followed behind him and saw Rose and Jenna sitting at the table with a whole two chairs between them. I didn't want to seem like I was sitting next to one of them and not the other, so I just stood there.
Jenna looked up at me. "Come sit next to me, Owen." She patted the seat.
Rose looked at me too and patted the seat next to her. "Or you can just sit next to me."
"I asked first." Jenna said looking at Rose with a dirty look. Oh god.
"I was here first." Rose stood up giving her an equally as dirty look. I looked at Casey and Logan and they looked just as terrified as me. Jenna stood up also.
"Were you really though?" Jenna asked her cocking her head to the side. "Cause I've been in his life for years."
"Can you two just chill the fuck out?" Casey stepped in between them. "Owen is sitting beside me." He pulled out the bar stool beside him and I quickly walked over and plopped down in it.
Rose and Jenna didn't talk the rest of the time. Logan made everyone scrambled eggs and pancakes and even though we didn't thank him, we were all so thankful someone wasn't too hungover to cook.
"Where are Tanner and Cameron?" Casey asked.
"I think I saw them passed out at the party on my way out." Logan said.
"How did everyone get home?" Casey asked us all.
Rose spoke up first. "I probably walked here." she said as she pushed the remaining food around on her plate.
"I actually drove you here." Jenna said looking up at Rose.
"Yeah right." Rose rolled her eyes.
"I also helped you get your clothes back on after you stripped in front of the whole party." Jenna said to her.
Rose's eyes were wide with shock. "D-did anyone-" Jenna cut her off.
"Nobody took any pictures." She said. "I got you dressed before anyone would've had the chance."
I looked at Rose. "Then, she took us both home, but we apparently were having a drunk argument, so she decided to separate us." I said.
Rose looked at me with amusement in her eyes. "Our first argument and I can't even remember it." She shook her head.
"Neither can I." I said honestly.
We both started laughing and everyone else joined in. Rose looked at Jenna after we all had calmed down. "Thank you for helping me and getting me here safe." She said to her.
