12. Recap

Donnie's p.o.v

I softly roll my eyes as I sit down on the foot of his bed saying "I can see she taught you a bit of Spanish during her time here." Raph glares at me, but sighs as he looks down at the floor, and (Y/n) sat down in his hammock. "Raph, when we heard Weeza was the one who stole Shredder's old stuff, your gasp sounded forced." 'I didn't notice that-' "yeah, that's what I thought one of ya was gonna say" Raph said defeated. Furrowing my eye-ridges I say "Raph, that's not what I was gonna say, but it's actually close."

He nods in understanding as he leans against his headboard saying "shoot away, Don" I sigh and say "when Weeza was singing.. I seen her t-phone." I pull up my t-phone and show him the screenshot I took, his eyes started tearing up. "Oh shell... it was my fault-" "what is your fault??" (Y/n) and I ask in unison as we look at him worried. He sighs and takes off his mask for a second as he says "h-here's the thing... I talked to Weeza that day. She was with me before she ran out on us.. she kind of told me somethin that I wasn't expectin."

(Y/n) tilted her head confused as she says "what was it?? Stop leaving tiny cliffhangers, Raph" he sighs and I say it for him "she confessed her feelings." Raph looks at me and tries not to break down right there 'this is a new side of Raph.. I've never seen him like this.' "Oh my gosh" (Y/n) says and instantly went by Raph's side to hug him, he cried into her shoulder. A pang of jealously spreads throughout my entire being 'don't get jealous, she's just helping him. Like how I should be- I'm a terrible bro' I think and sat by his other side and pat his shell.

"What exactly happened that day, Raph??" I ask as we're all just sitting on the bed, either comforting or being comforted. Raph sighs as he wipes a tear away saying "okay... I'll tell ya, but you have to promise not to tell Leo or Mikey. I didn't even want you guys knowin" (Y/n) and I share a look as we smile and nod once. Then we look back at Raph as we both somehow lift up our own right hand, putting it over our chest. I can feel my own heartbeat as we also both lift up our left hand saying "promise on my own life."

Raph shudders at that saying "okay, ignorin that random moment-"

Raph's Narrating p.o.v

"I was hanging out Casey when she knocked on the door-"

Weeza knocking on the door interrupted Casey's words, so Raph says "who is it??" Sounding upset, so Weeza says that it's her. Raph and Casey smile at the other as Casey says "ya already know you're welcomed, dude." Weeza playfully scoffed as she opened the door, closing it behind her as she layed on her stomach on Raph's bed. "So, what'd I miss??" Weeza asks like she wasn't planning anything at all, so Raph and Casey start talking with her too. Talking about their crazy adventures through space and Leo teaming up with Karai behind their backs.

When it started to get a bit late for Casey to stay out, he says "I think I should start headin home, see you tomorrow" Casey fist bumps both of his besties. Both Weeza and Raph say "okay, see ya tomorrow, Case!" He nods and starts to walk out. Weeza started to look down nervously as she thinks over something, looking conflicted. Raph noticed, being a best friend to her, he obviously got a bit concerned and could tell something was on her mind.

"After Casey left, she started ta look worried, I thought she was gonna say that she was scared of havin to deal with anymore missions. But at the moment I forgot that this is also the same girl that doesn't know when to give up."

"Hey, is somethin botherin you??" Raph asks and sits up from his laid back position, Weeza smiles saying "yeah, yeah... I think I have a crush." Raph always knew that she would get one at some point, but did she have to take so long to tell him?! He smugly smiled. "I knew this was comin, who is it? Is it Leo??" Raph asked, oblivious to what Weeza was hinting. Weeza furrowed her eyebrows in disgust "shell no!" She answered as she laughed and pushed his shoulders.

"How oblivious are you, Raph??" "I'm sorry, Don, I never knew someone could like me before!!" "Guys, quit arguing, I'm hooked on this story."

Raph raised an eye-ridge at his best friend as she breathes in and sighs "nothing can ever change our friendship.. right??" Weeza asks while looking up at Raph. He could notice the look behind her glasses, fear of not being accepted, a feeling he knew too well. "Of course - wait... iS iT dOnNiE?!" Raph asks and starts laughing "I'm not tryin to be mean. But that would just be-" "okay, ew, no-"

"Is that what she said?!" "Clam it, Donnie!" 

Weeza finally says "okay... here goes nothin, Raph..." she stands up as she takes her ponytail in her hands and messed with the tips of her hair. "It's you!" Weeza says without looking Raph in the eye, he was beyond shocked at this point. 'She likes me??.... okay, kind of weird' Raph thinks to himself as his eyes are wide and his jaw dropped. Weeza peeked a look at him, let go of her ponytail saying "I know, it's crazy, there's not much that you could like about me. I mean, look at-" "I'm gonna stop ya right there, Weeza... Mona is the only girl for me, I'm sorry."

Tears stung at the girls eyes as she says "n-n-n.... oh sewer apples, I'm sorry" once the words came out she started running. Not wanting to cry in front of anyone she just... ran, despite the calls of her friends/family.

"You really said that to her-" "YES, BECAUSE I AM IN LOVE WITH MONA!! YOU OF ALL PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW, DON!"
