chapter 4:no i don't like him

Does anyone believe in love-at-first-sight ?

I never used to believe in that, I guess until I met Legend.

WAIT WHAT NO I DON'T

Ugh. I am so stupid! What was I thinking ? He would never like me! Come on Wynona ! Stop being such an idiot.

"Are you okay?"

What? He's still here ? Oh yeah, I forgot , we're not even close to my house yet. "Uhm y-yes" I stuttered, trying to hide my face from him "oh, I thought you were just talking to yourself"

Wow.He noticed.

There was an awkward silence after that. It kept on raining, but before it could rain harder, we already reached my house.

"So uhm, Legend, I guess I have to go" I started

"Why ? Are we here ?"

"Yeah, thanks dude" I said with a smile

"hey, no problem" he smiled back

WHY LEGEND WHY why do you have to smile at me like that it's making my heart melt ugh

I was about to enter when I looked back at him and I just couldn't shut my mouth.

"Legend, wait!"

He looked back at me, with his precious eyes that seem to sparkle even though it was raining.

"Yeah?"

"Uhm, it's raining really hard and your umbrella looks like it's about to break"

He looked and examined His umbrella. then he looked at me

"Nah, its okay. I don't mind getting wet" then he winked at me

That sounds so wrong. But he winked at me. Why does he have to do that?

"U-uhm ... o-okay. But if you need an extra, or anything, you can just .... uh " idk what else to say

"what ?"

"uhm, you know what, never mind, I think you could handle it yourself tough guy"

Wait? What did I just call him ? Tough guy ? Ugh.Come on Wyn, you can do better than that!

He let out a smile which again, made my heart beat 10 times faster. He looks so cute , and not to mention his dimples which made him look even cuter when he smiles.He was too perfect for me, and I couldn't handle it. Maybe that's why Nikki accused him for breaking up with her, maybe she too, couldn't handle his extreme gorgeousness and just made up stuff in her mind to make other girls jealous that they actually become something. But Legend had no idea what she was blabbering about so he made her feel embarrassed in front of everyone.

I gotta admit, a lot of girls fell for this guy. Who wouldn't ?

But no I can't I just can't .

"Goodbye Wynona" he said

And I let out a smile too.

"No way ! He did ?!"

"Yes He did ! He did! Srlsy !!!"

Aslyn and I have been face timing each other for that past few hours while doing our homeworks. She still couldn't believe that The Legend Eckhart , had a walk with me all the way home even though we were never really close to each other or we just met for the first time. "Dude, you must be drooling over him right now ! Are you stalking him right now ? Is he the only one on your mind rn ?"  Aslyn kept on asking me questions that I can't seem to understand.

"Oh come on Winter! Don't play games with me, don't confuse me, I know you like him! I know it ! I feel it !"

I couldn't hide it.

"Oh yeah ? Come one Aslyn, you don't even know him!"

"Bet I do, met him during lunch, me and Ienne"

"I thought you two skipped classes ? "

" yeah we did, but figured we have no money for lunch so we had to eat lunch here for free then we skipped classes"

"did he sat with you guys ?"

"yeah that's why we met him".

"how did he talk to you guys ?"

"like a normal person would"

"what was the first thing he said ? did he winked at you ? did anyone else join you guys ? how was his eating manners? tell me Aslyn , tell me !"

"whoah whoah whoah , keep your horses down sister! Now you're the one asking me questions ,and srlsy, eating manners ?! chillax. He didn't do anything else. He just sat with us , although he didn't ask if he can sit with us but we didn't mind, then he just said that his name was Legend Eckhart and we were just kinda like wow. "

"oh I see "

"hey, he is all yours! I have Andrew remember ?"

"I remember"

"stop denying it Winter, I know you like that guy"

"No I don't! Doesn't mean I asked you a lot of questions about him doesn't mean I like him"

"love him maybe?"

"shut up"

I don't like him or love him. I just met him. That would be like, so weird. I know what I said in the first place , but I didn't mean it.

"okay okay, wow your grumpy.... its getting a lil late winter, I need to go to bed"

"okay then, good night, oh and haven't I told you to stop calling me winter ? "

"you used to love that nickname we gave you when we were still 3 !"

"that was before now shut up and go to bed and I go by Wyn now"

"I wub you Winter !!!" then she ended our chat.

Not long enough, I went to bed too. But I couldn't sleep. I ended up thinking about Legend. The way he smiles, he winks, he talks, he hair and his eyes. His dimples, his cheeks . His everything.

No Wyn, you don't like or love him. You don't.

You just don't.
