A/N: You don't gotta read these, just read CHAPTER FOUR!!! lol

I lean into Soda, and he picks me up bridal style. He carries me all the way to his room. "Listen Soda. I'm sorry I snapped at you earlier. I shouldn't have," I whisper. Sodapop attacks me with a giant hug, almost knocking me over. My hands sift through his hair, slightly tugging at it. "I'm sorry," Soda mumbles into my shirt. I lift his face to mine and say, "Don't be. I missed you." I kiss Soda on his nose. He lies down and pulls me with him.

"Sooooooda," I whine. "What is it babe?" he questions, care laced in his voice. "I have to change. I don't want these dirty clothes on anymore," I wail. "Wear one of my shirts!" Sodapop excitedly suggests. I roll out of bed, clearly tired, and find one of Soda's shirts. "No not that one!" he whisper-shouts. He takes it from me, discarding it somewhere near his desk. Soda takes off his own, and hands it to me. I raise an eyebrow and say, "Soda. Put your shirt back on. Please." He frowns, I clearly destroyed his confidence. "Soda, it's not like that. I can't look away," I admit, not being able to look him in the eyes. He laughs that beautiful laugh again, and it makes me smile. "Go ahead, change," he says as he leaves the room. I slip off my clothes and put Soda's shirt on. It dangles off of my shoulders, clearly being too big for me. "You can come back in now babe," I request. The door opens slowly, revealing my beautiful boyfriend. My arms are folded around my stomach, and Sodapop spins me around. "You look amazing," he remarks. I blush and look away. Soda shuts the door and hugs me. We both lay down, cradled in each other's arms. Our legs were tangled, our arms around each other, his face next to mine.

The morning sun peels my eyes open. I emerge from the pile of blankets, but an arm holding me close won't let me escape. I twist around, hoping to wake him. Soda whines, signaling that he is awake. "Baby, why'd you wake me up so early?" he grumbles. "It's 8:46!" I respond with a little too much attitude. I detach Soda's arm from my waist and start to crawl out of bed. Just then, he dragged me back into his chest. An angered voice came from the other side of Soda's bedroom door, "Sodapop I need my clothes for the day! Open up!" Soda hugged me tighter into his chest. "Pony, you can come in," Soda spoke, seeming very relaxed. The door whipped open, and Ponyboy's face reddened as he saw Soda and me together. "Oh, sorry I didn't think you guys were, um, you know. Sharing a bed," he mumbles, turning away to reach for his clothes. Soda turns my face to kiss me good morning. "Disgusting! Not when I'm in the room! Please!" Ponyboy yells, clearly disgusted. I laugh and soon realize Ponyboy is staring at me. Ponyboy shuffles out of the room. Soda wraps his arms around me, and mumbles into my shoulder, "Good morning, babe. I'm sorry Pony came in and ruined our moment." I smiled down at him, realizing that I am wearing nothing but his shirt. "Babe," I whisper. "Mmm?" he responds. "I, uh, need to change," I say. "Go ahead?" Soda says in a duh tone. I glare at him, clearly annoyed. He raises his hands and turns around. I grab a shirt from Soda's drawer, and quickly change out of it. I file through the rest of them looking for sweatpants. "Aha!" I shout, excited that I had found them. I slip them on, instantly greeted by comfort. I spin Soda around, and say, "You saw me in the mirror didn't you?" His face flushes, too embarrassed to look me in the eyes.

"You need to go home, Astra. Your mother must be worried sick!" Darry yells across the hall. I roll my eyes and laugh as I pick up Curtis' phone. "I'm calling her right now!" I shout back. The phone rings twice before she picks up. "Hello?" I greet, knowing my mother would instantly recognize my voice. "Astra Chère Sanders, is that you? Where are you calling from? Are you safe? Do you need," I cut her off, "I'm calling from my friends' house, I'm safe, and no I do not need help." She sighs, "Good. Well, you can stay there as long as you like if it is okay with them. And who are these friends?" I laugh. "Mom, they're some people I met at the DX. Super, super-nice," I reassure her. "Oh, okay then! I'll see you whenever you come home. You don't gotta let me know when. But you can't stay away forever," she says and hangs up. "Darry?" I ask, feeling a little nervous to talk to him. "Yes, you can stay as long as you'd like," he says before I could even ask. "Thank you!" I yell with excitement.

I rush back into Soda's room to see him undressing. He screams, definitely seeming self-conscious. He covers himself up, and I dive into the pile of sheets on his bed. "A-Astra? How much did you, uh, see?" he questions anxiously. "All of it," I admit. "Glad you're honest, but if you lied it would've been better," he says shakily. I hold my head in my hands. "I'm sorry Soda. Didn't mean to invade your privacy," I whisper. "Now you gotta show," he states. I glare at him. "C'mon! You saw me!" he explains. "Not fair! I'm not doing that!" I yell. "Fine! I'll get you one day," he whispers. I roll my eyes. Oh Soda, if only you knew what was to happen.
