A/N: Hey! pls, comment!

"I can't believe I actually broke up with Dallas!" Lacey shouts. "You seriously can't remember? It was just last night!" I reply, laughing. "Oh come on! I was drunk, you can't expect me to remember everything!" she reasons, and yet I still laugh. "How'd you even get into a bar? You're seventeen!" I ask, still laughing. "I don't know actually, they didn't check to see if I was underage," she responds. I nod my head, and say, "Alright, well I've gotta go to work. You might wanna go home." She hums. "Okay. Thanks for taking care of me," she sings. Lacey lets herself out the front door.

It was the same exact routine for work, just like yesterday. Actually, it was almost exactly like yesterday. Jules was parked in the same spot, and so was I. The only different thing was Jules' arms. She now had tattoos covering almost every inch of skin. And she seemed ecstatic about it. I liked them too, but would I ever get those tattoos? I'll think about that. More customers came in today than yesterday. I was constantly busy. And that is exactly what I like to do when I work. The gang also came to the arcade today, and they definitely did not expect me to be here. "Astra! You got a job?" Darry asks, sounding surprised. "Yeah, I did. I really love working here. It's my second day on the job!" I squeal, but not too loud, and not too high pitched. "Here are your tickets for the day! Let me know if you need anything!" I say as they walk off. "Oh hey, Jules! What do you need?" I ask, excited that my friends are here. "Here, have a ticket. Go play with your friends. All of the employees here do this at least once a month, and it's time for your turn. Have fun!" Jules exclaims, a big goofy grin on her face. "Are you sure? You don't need any help?" I double-check, I want to be sure it's okay for me to go. She nods, and finally says, "Go! You need to have fun at some point in your life, am I right? Or am I wrong?" I laugh, and say, "Alright fine! I'll have fun, but only because you say so. Otherwise, I wouldn't be leaving my job, just so I could live my life!" I laugh again and run off to join the gang. Jules makes a small wave at me, and so does Kris, another employee here. Both of them are really nice. Plus, I don't have to work with guys. Well, not yet at least.

The gang sees me running over to them, and Johnny steps forward. "Hey, Astra! Whatcha doing?" Johnny questions, his face shifting to a peach color. "Jules and Kris let me come hang out with you guys! Once a month all of us get to have a whole day of arcade games. It's great!" I answer, with a smile on my face. They all smile, and move to the side. Soda walks towards me and gives me a small kiss. "Let's have some fun! Yeah?" The corner of his lips tug upwards, and it makes part of me melt. He takes my hand, and drags me to what I guess is his favorite game. The rest of the gang waves both of us off and goes on acting like little kids. "Hey Soda, do you think I should get a tattoo?" He looks at me and smiles. "Do you want one?" He asks. I nod my head. "What's your favorite thing?" he responds. "The moon and the stars," I answer. "So get that! I think that would make an excellent tattoo!" he smiles. "Thank you so much Soda! I really appreciate  it!" I thank him, his smile growing even bigger and even brighter. He grabs my hand and drags me over to Darry. "Hey, I'm going to take Astra somewhere. Can I borrow the car? We'll be back soon, I promise," Soda starts but gets cut off, "Sure go ahead. But you better be back soon, understand?" Soda nods his head rapidly, and I say, "Soda, let me ask the girls. Gotta check to make sure that I can go." He smiles again, and it makes me smile too. It's contagious. I walk over to the counter. "Hey, Kris! Where's Jules?" I ask. She points to her left, where Jules stands next to a girl. A real pretty one too. "Her name is Sinclair. And she's Jules' girlfriend," Kris explains, with a smile on her face. "Can I ask you something, Kris?" She looks at me, "Is it okay if I leave for a bit? I'll be back before my shift is over, I promise!" I plead, my puppy dog eyes out. "Bien sûr que vous pouvez! Où allez-vous?" she responds, and then says, "Sorry! I spoke in French, didn't I? You see, I used to go to France, and I picked up a couple of words." I nod, and she speaks again. "Of course you can go! Where are you going?" she asks, shaking her shoulders. "I'm gonna get a tattoo!" I respond, jumping up and down. "Oh my god! What are you going to get?" she shouts excitedly. "The moon and the stars," I answer. She smiles and hugs me. "That's perfect," she whispers.

My ankles sting. On the left, the artist is creating the stars. On the right, the moon stands alone, a little swollen. The needle lifts and the pain dies down a little. "All done! And since this is your first tattoo, I'll give it to you free. Have a good day!" the artist shoos us outside, and locks up. I guess he didn't want me in there much longer. I catch Soda glancing at me, and he looks away. "You like it?" he nods. "Something wrong?" his head shakes. I stop in my tracks. "Sodapop Patrick Curtis! Something is wrong and I want to fix it!" I whine. "I thought that guy was flirting with you. And I didn't like it one bit," he admits, ashamed of the truth. I laugh, and he stares at me. "Babe! He was not flirting with me, he was simply asking me what I wanted, where I wanted it, and if I was positive about my decision!" I laugh again. "Well, he gave you that free, and he had this vibe about him! Like he wanted you!" he says, and looks down. "Okay Soda," I hum.
