"You, what are you going to do with him?" Ladybug clenched her teeth, glaring at her enemy. It was impossible to tell who the man under that flashy mask was as the mask covered his whole face except for his mouth.

A vile smirk crept up his face as he walked towards the sentimonster. "Aw, Ladybug. I won't be revealing any plans to you, I'm not dumb." He stood in front of the 'Mammoth' admiring his work of art and out of nowhere commanded, "Now, Mayura. We can't keep them waiting."

Before Ladybug could spin around and fend off the purple supervillainess, something wrapped around her as she felt her arms being forced to her sides. Shouting in protest, she was harshly pulled back against one of the feet of the tower. Struggling against her bonds, she felt her rope tighten around her chest, making it hard to move or take a deep breath.

"Let them go! I thought it was me you wanted?" Luka yelled from the moth's grasp. Hawk Moth look over to him with fake pity. Ladybug looked up at the poor boy as he struggled in the beast's bonds, wishing they weren't in this situation. Looking at Luka, he seemed alright. A few scratches and his hair was more untidy the usual. Ladybug sighed with relief. 

She desperately needed to talk to him, about what he said before the sentimonster snatched him up. Tikki made it seem important and she had to know. But she was afraid to know, as much as she wanted to know. Stop confusing yourself, Ladybug clenched her teeth.

She would use her lucky charm, but she had her arms wrapped up. Her mind working its gears, she couldn't think of anything that could help her. Ladybug couldn't believe it, after all they've been through, they were going to be defeated by a moth and rope.

"Teenagers, so naive. You'll see what I need you for," Hawk Moth snapped his fingers and she gasped as something cold grazed her throat.

Mayura stood in front of her staring at her coldly with her demon-like eyes. In her hand at Ladybug's throat was one of her feathers, the sharp point lightly pressing into her neck.

Her hands started sweating as she tried to look at Mayura, hoping she would get mercy. She didn't recieve any sympathy amongst the pink abyss of the villainess's eyes. Taking short breaths, she looked over to where Hawk Moth glared at Luka.

He pounded his cane onto the ground, signalling the sentimonster to drop him. Luka fell to the ground with a thud, he didn't seemed harmed but there was a hard look in his eyes as he glowered at the man. He stood up with his fists on his sides. Hawk Moth grinned.

"Your choice, you lose your miraculous, or your girlfriend?" The glint in Hawk Moth's eyes turned menacing as his eyes narrowed. He tapped his cane onto the concrete creating echoes through the iron structure, like a clock counting down. Ladybug swallowed the metallic taste in her mouth as she felt Luka's stare on her, his eyes wide.

She peered down to see Luka's hands shaking, she didn't know if it was in anger or fright, maybe both. "You can't do that. You wouldn't." Luka paced towards Ladybug. With her eyes, she tried to stop him but Hawk Moth waved his hand towards Mayura.

Ladybug gasped as she felt the cold metal press harder into her throat. She could feel hot, sticky blood trickling out of the small wound. The sharp pain sent a shiver down her spine. Don't do it, please. She internally cried, don't hand over something that could possibly mean the end of the world. Please, Luka. I'm not worth it.

"Move another step and this will be the last time you'll see her alive," Hawk Moth snarled.

She tried to show her thoughts through her eyes, she begged but Luka didn't seem to see. One soft look towards her pale face, he reached around his wrist for his miraculous. The miraculous that could reverse time for 5 minutes, what could Hawk Moth possibly need it for? What does he want with time reversed only 5 minutes?

With a stifled groan, she watched as Luka reluctantly handed over the miraculous over to Hawk Moth, his eyes full of greed.

Before Luka could place it in Hawk Moth's outstretched hand, he narrowed his eyes, "Please, stop hurting Ladybug. Let her go." He pleaded.

Hawk Moth snatched the miraculous from his hand but signalled for Mayura to release Ladybug.

Ladybug fell to the ground with a gasp after Mayura shoved her to the ground, walking towards her master.

Her head pounding, she felt soft hands gently pulling her face up. "Why did you do it? I'm less important than the risk of the end of the world." She stared into Luka's face, now noticing the thin scratches running along his cheeks.

She knew that it was bad timing, but she felt her face redden when his fingers gently stroked her cheeks. "Are you okay? Your neck doesn't look great." Luka's soft eyes diverted from hers to the running stream of blood running down her neck. His arms stiffened and a hint of anger flashed across his face.

Ladybug turned away, pulling herself away from Luka's soft touch. "I'm fine. But you didn't answer my question." She cuddled herself, as she started shivering, afraid. She heard shifting beside her and she turned to find Luka kneeling next to her, his face low.

Letting out a sigh, he turned towards her. His bright blue eyes looked fragile as he looked at her with guilt, "I couldn't loose anyone else. I-I've lost too much already." He let out a dry chuckle. "Now's not the best time anyway. Didn't I tell you how much I loved you when we bumped into each other the other night?"

She recoiled away from him in confusion, "You didn't say you loved me, you said that you loved Mar-"

"I love you Marinette, I know about you." Luka rubbed the back of his neck looking sheepish.

Her eyes widened as she stood up looking down at him. "What? H-How?" Her heart thundered against her chest at his words, he had discovered her secret. But, he said it. He said her loved her, her both sides. She could feel enormous butterflies clawing around her stomach, screaming at her to finally say it.

Luka stood up with an unsure look on his face but with a look at Ladybug he smiled. He reached into his pocket, pulling out a red ribbon. "I believe this belongs to you." He gingerly placed it in her hand while his face was inches away from hers.

"Luka, I don't know but I-"

"Sorry to ruin the moment but I've been here tied up while you guys got mushy. Wow, I never thought I'd become the third wheel." Chat Noir remarked as he squirmed in his bonds looking uncomfortable.

Ladybug gave herself a mental facepalm for forgetting what was happening and ran towards Chat Noir to untie the rope. "Okay guys, I'm sorry about that. But we still have a chance of getting back Luka's miraculous and preventing Hawk Moth's ruling and-"

Chat Noir grimaced, "Ladybug, you might want to turn around now."

"What?" She turned around to be met with a loud blinding green flash.
