The Baby Project | S.M. Fanfiction

C H A P T E R O N E

Ashley's P.O.V:
I am actually going to the health class. I hear from my other classmates that we are gonna do another project compared to baby dolls and you have to take care of them, blah, blah, blah. But there is one problem. The group of friend I am in, has 5 people so one person would be in the pair with someone out of our group. And it has to be me of course. I am the only one who isn't in a relationship. But never mind.

I am next to the classroom, where we will have a lesson. I look at the watch in my phone. Five minutes left. I sit on the sofa which is opposite the classroom. Suddenly I see no one else that Shawn Mendes, the school's bad boy, walking with his father, who is a principal there. Mr Mendes is really nice to me, but his son... well...

"Hello Ashley" The principal smiles at me.

"Good morning, Principal Mendes" I say and then the bell rings. Then he goes to his office and Shawn stands next to me.

The sound of his voice makes me jump. “Hey, do you have a lighter?" His voice is so sexy, but I still hate him.

"You know that you can't smoke here. It's a school. Does your father know?" I ask him. The smoke of the cigarette in his mouth touched my nose. "I don't care. I can do what I want"

The rest of classmates come and stand next to us. I see my best friend, Kaitlin, her boyfriend named Ryan and two of my other friends, Ally and James. I hug them all and when we come in the classroom, this idiot Mendes, pushes me away and he came as a first person.

"Idiot" I say. "Kiss my ass!" He yells to me and shows me a middle finger. I just roll my eyes and take my seat. In front of him. Unfortunately, all the time he is throwing paper balls or paper planes on me.

"So as you probably know, we will do another project, but this time, you - as the volunteers, will take care of a fake baby and real baby. So now pairs: Ally and James, Kaitlin and Ryan, Ashley and Shawn..." The nurse says and I get frozen. No, it can't be.

"What the- There's no way, I am gonna be with Parker!" Mendes stands up and starts yelling, pointing at me.

"Um sorry, but I have a name, you know" I turn to him.

"Shut up!" He yells at me.

"I am sorry, but the pairs have been formed and they can't be changed" We sit back. 

"No, go to you partner and take the doll" The nurse says and we all come to the desk.

Of course, Shawn can't stand that he is in pair with me so he starts pulling me hair. "Ouch, it hurts" But he doesn't stop. So I start slapping him.

"Ashley, Shawn, stop please!" The nurse says and we both stop.

I take the doll from the box. My godness. If I had a baby, I would be the best mother to the small, precious bean. I go to my friends.

"Where's your partner?" Kaitlin asks. "Ah, don't tell me about him, he's such a-" I cut my sentence, cause I see Shawn coming to us.

"I need to get as good mark as possible so if you want to play 'mommy' I will come to your house on Friday" He smiles and goes back to his seat.
