Ashley's P.O.V:

It's been a long period of time. Shawn and I moved three months ago to our own flat. It may not be the best, but still it is better

I've been carrying the baby for nine months. I may say it weren't good months. My feet are swollen and my back hurt all the time. On the due date, which is today, I am really exhausted. I decide to got to sleep at 7:30 p.m. I was asleep for around four hours before I feel a sharp pain in my stomach.

"Shawn!" I yell. "My water broke!" He quickly gets up.

We really don't have to hurry, because I decided to have a home birth. Why? It's because I don't trust hospitals, only clinics.

Looking back, I probably wouldn't regret my decision to have a homebirth. But at the moment, I am regretting it heavily. Everything hurts me and I would love to have an epidural.

The midwife was really close to our flat, so she comes here in a second.

I am breathing heavily as I wait for another contraction.

"You're doing amazing" The midwife says. I smile and lean my head back.

Suddenly I feel another contraction.

"It's happening" I moan. Shawn comes to me closer. He holds my hand and I squeeze it.

After 6 hours, we welcome our daughter named Judy Rose Mendes, born on 7th May at 5:29 a.m. When they lift her onto my stomach, I just cry and smile. She's so small. My sweetheart. I see Shawn has tears in his eyes. He got his princess. After the midwife cleans me and the baby up, she leave Shawn, I and Judy alone.

"I can't believe she's here" Shawn says and starts crying. He's so happy.

"Maybe it is time to start a new beggining" I say and kiss Judy's forehead.

---

I am laying on my bed, holding my precious baby girl in my arms. She sleeps peacefully, finally.

I told Shawn after birth that he should go to our bedroom and get some rest. Of course, he didn't want to go, he wanted to stay with us in Judy's room, but I saw he was rubbing his eyes and yawning all the time. Finally, he accepted it and quickly fell asleep.

I take a piece of paper from the bed table and a pen. I decide to write the letter to the future Judy. I write everything I wanted and put the letter  in a safe place.

I put Judy closer to her. She is a perfect mix of Shawn and I. Suddenly, I fell asleep.

---

I wake up. I look on the clock. 4:37 p.m. Shawn is probably awake.

"Hi sweetheart, how are you feeling now?" Shawn says as he comes to the room where I am.

"Hey, I am okay. Just kinda hungry and thirsty" I say and Shawn brings me what I want. I smile as a 'thank you'

He comes closer to Judy.

"Hi Judy" Shawn coos. She opens her big eyes and sneeze and it makes us being in awe.

"I think she should be named 'Bambi'." I say.

"Yes" Shawn comes to me and takes Judy feom my arms. They look so cute together.

I am so thankful to have a family like that.
