Ashley's P.O.V:
Friday. Last lesson. ICT. Of course Kaitlin and I aren't paying attention on what is going on, we check our social medias and she tries to find a boyfriend for me. We start laughing and the teacher catches us.
"Ashley, Kaitlin, please stop laughing. Do you even know what is the topic of our today's lesson?" Mr Rothwell asks.
Kaitlin is like 'Um...", but I quickly turns to the whiteboard and I see the topic. "Um, I think it is about technologies for indoor positioning?" I say, being not sure.
"Yes, thank you Ashley" Mr Rothwell says with a big relief and turns back to his computer.
"Lame" Mendes says and the class except Kaitlin, Ryan, Ally and James start laughing.
"Mr Mendes!" The teacher yells. "Stop laughing please, focus on a lesson" And then a bell rings. Everybody leave the class. I want to go, but I can't. I have to go back home with Shawn. We are gonna start this project. Eh.
I see the principal coming to the classroom. "So Shawn, I hope you will do the best on the project with Ashley"
"Yeah, yeah" Shawn says and we both leave the classroom.
Our road is silent. We get to my house. My lovely mom welcomes us.
"Hi darling, it must be your partner for this project" She turns to Shawn and says. "I'm Lisa, Ashley's mom" "Hello Mrs Parker, nice to meet you" They shake hands.
"So we will be in my room, if you need us" I say and Shawn follows me on my way to the room.
"So what should I do with this- thing?" Shawn asks, and acts like he's never holded a baby.
"What are you doing, idiot!?" I yell at him.
"What? It's just a thing, not a real baby" He seems like he doesn't care about this project. Why am I not surprised?
"Gimme that" I take this doll from him and put on my hands as if I have a real baby in my arms. And then I look at him. "You will be a terrible father, you know"
"That's why I don't want to be a father" He is so confident, saying that. Eh.
I take the list of things we need to do with a doll and then take a photo of this. We had a lot of to do and then the last part is to take care of a real baby. It won't be a problem to find one, cause I have a baby cousin. She is seven months old.
"Okay, so the first think we should do is to change this baby clothes. You do it" I say and give Shawn other clothes for this doll.
"I remind you that you are the one here who has a baby fever" I know he says that because he doesn't want to be recorded while taking care of a baby doll or even a real baby.
"Oh God, you're really lazy and clumsy at the same time" I roll my eyes. I think I will be the only one of our pair who will pass this project.
Shawn comes to me closer and takes photo of me changing the clothes of a baby doll. I think I accidentaly press the button, because the doll started crying like a normal baby. I press the button once, but it doesn't work. Shawn tries to help me, cause this the crying is filling the whole room and my head hurts me because of that. Soon, when he repairs the button, we hear someone saying:
"You two look cute together"
