C H A P T E R F I V E

Shawn's P.O.V:

"Don't you dare touch again" I say. Then I look at Ashley. She looks shocked, that I save her. I am a bad boy, but I am a human and I have feelings. But feelings for her.

"Because? You hate her, we hate her all. What are you talking about? Aren't you a bad boy? Don't you remember?" Matt crosses his arms.

Oh no! They may be suspicious and they may know it that I have a feeling for Ashley.

"I mean we don't want to be in a big trouble, when she will come back home and complain to her parents" I kinda lie. I don't want her to get hurted. And I don't want to be in a trouble because of Matt and the rest. Cause I love her. Yes! I love her!

Kaitlin goes to Ashley, helps her get up and then Ashley runs away. With tears in her eyes. I want to run and find her, talk to her. But first I need to discuss with Matt and the rest.

"Good job, Mendes. You made her cry, congratulations" Matt said and I get angry.

"I made her cry? YOU DID IT!" I take my things and hold Kaitlin's hand and take her out of Matt's house.

"Hey, whatcha doin'?" Kaitlin says.

"We must talk" We stop outside.

"About?" She crosses her arms.

"Ashley" I bit my lip, waiting for Kaitlin's answer, as she looks shocked.

"Why?" She asks.

"Because, I- um... I mean, eh..."

"Oh, come on" She starts being impatient.

I take a deep breath and I start. "I am in love with Ashley!" her jaw dropped as I say those six words, including the name of her best friend.

"But how? You hate her!"

"It's like if a man makes fun of you that is a sigh that he is competely comfortable around you"

"Okay, so what do you want to do now?"

"I want to talk to Ashley. I wanna tell her the truth"

"Oh okay, she's probably at home. If you promise her that you will change, that you won't be a bad boy anymore, she will forgive you"

"I will try, thank you" I kisses her on her cheek and I go to Ashley's house.

I knock on the door. Ashley opens it.

"What are you doing here?" She asks.

I come to her closer and kiss her. At first she doesn't know what to do and then she kisses me back. I feel like I am in heaven. She's the perfect one for me.

After our kiss I look into her eyes and hold her hands. "I love you. I know I was stupid making fun of you, but I promise, I will change. Cause I have feelings for you. And I don't want to change it"

"Shawn, I love you" She hugs me. "But wait, does anybody knows about it, did you talk with someone about that you loves me?" She asks.

"Don't worry. Only Kaitlin knows, but I think she won't tell anybody" I smile.

"I think so too, I will talk to her about that" She smiles back.

We go to her garden. We sit on a bench. She puts head on my shoulder. I am playing with her hair. My free hand I use to hold her hand.

"Shawn"

"Yes Ashley?"

"I'm worried" I look at her.

"What's happening?"

"I mean what with our relationship at school? We can't go through school's corridors holding hands" Oh yeah. I totally forgot about that. "What should we do then?" She asks.

"We have to pretend that we still hate each other. Kaitlin only knows, Matt can be suspicious, but I will work on it"
