TW // Hospitals, Mentions Of Death
The next afternoon
Virgil, Missy, Janus, Logan, and Patton sat in Roman's hospital room. Roman was still asleep. A nurse walked into the room.
"We got the results on those tests back. Do you guys want to hear them now?" she asked. The group nodded. The nurse opened the file she had in her hands.
"He has some pretty serious damage done to his lungs. It looks like he's been binding unsafely for quite a while" she started. Janus had tears pouring down his face.
"I should have known! I should've stopped him" he said quietly
"Jan, there was nothing you could've done" Patton reassured him
"It looks like the fall didn't do any damage. However, if he survives this, he will most likely have very serious problems with his lungs" she finished solemnly. If. That word hit hard. At this point, tears were falling from everyone's eyes, even Logan. But Virgil was crying the hardest. The others pulled him into a group hug.
"I never got to tell him I love him," Virgil said through tears

I'm sorry! Please, bind safely! I have no clue if something this extreme could happen, but you could seriously hurt yourself if you aren't safe. These past couple chapters are actually slightly based on the time I hit a very high note while binding and almost passed out in my dad's car. Anyways, until next time, take it easy guys, gals, and nonbinary pals, peace out!
