TW // very brief mention of being drunk
ignore how bad my editing is lol. I just wanted to give y'all an idea of what they're wearing
Logan stood at the alter in his dark blue tuxedo. Virgil, being Patton's best man, was also there. Music began to pour through the room as Patton walked down the aisle in a beautiful, long, blue ombré wedding gown. Once he reached the alter, both Logan and Patton were softly crying tears of joy.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today-" Janus, who has been asked to preform the ceremony as he was technically ordained from that time in college when he got really drunk and took a class online, began his speech. Eventually, it was time for the couple to say their vows.
Patton went first. "After my bad experiences with relationships in the past, I never really thought I would want to ever get married, but look at me now. I'm here, with the most amazing man I've ever met, getting married to him. You were always willing to take things at my pace, willing to back down a little if I asked you to, and that was even before you knew. You are truly the best thing I never knew I needed. I'd do anything for you. If you wanted the moon, all you'd have to do is say the word, and I'd throw a lasso around it and pull it down. And I know you'd do the same for me. You and I just... work together. And I love how you always finish my-" he paused, waiting to see if Logan would fill the blank. "Sentences. I was going for sentences" Patton said when Logan stayed silent. The guests burst into laughter. "I guess, what I'm trying to say is, thank you. For everything. I love you, Logan. And I always will" Patton slid a black wedding band onto Logan's left ring finger.
"Wow, how am I supposed to top that?" Logan asked with a small chuckle, wiping a tear from his face. "It's not really a secret that i tend to struggle with commitment. I thought that this would be the most difficult thing I ever had to do. But when I saw you walking down that aisle, I realized how simple it was. I love you. Any surprises that come our way, it's okay because I will always love you. You are the person I was meant to spend the rest of my life with. And I wouldn't trade that for the world," Logan said, slipping a silver wedding band onto Patton's finger.
"By the power vested in me by the state of Florida, I now pronounce you husbands. You may kiss" Janus said. Patton and Logan pulled each other into a kiss. It was soft, yet full of love.

ahhhhhhhhh!! Wedding chapter!! In case y'all were wondering, Patton's vows have references to The Princess and The Frog, and It's a Wonderful Life. Logan's are almost exactly the same as Chandler's vows in friends (video at the top) haha. We now only have 2 chapters left to go of this story, including the epilogue. If I'm being honest, I'm a bit sad that it's almost done, but I'll finally get time to work on my other stories, so that's cool. Anyways, until next time, take it easy guys gals and nonbinary pals, peace out!
