"Do you have the ring?" Virgil asked, pacing back and forth through his room
"Virgil, you've asked me that approximately 8 times in the past 10 minutes. Yes, I have the ring" Logan replied calmly "Now can I go? This isn't exactly the best date to be late for"
"Yeah. Good luck" Virgil said, watching Logan walk out of his room
~~about 30 minutes later, at the planetarium~~
"How come nobody else is here?" Patton asked, walking into the planetarium with Logan
"Uh... the planetarium is closing soon so since it's been kind of an important place in our relationship I booked it out so we could enjoy it one last time, just the two of us" Logan lied
~~Patton's POV~~
The planetarium's not closing. I would've heard ab- ohhhhhhhh. This is where he's gonna do it. That's so sweet!
We walked into the room and I noticed that it was full of tulips. My favorite flower. We sat down and eventually, the lights dimmed. The show began just as it always had. I rested my head on Logan's shoulder as I looked up at the projections of stars facing across the ceiling. Then I saw something different. I moved my head to see if I was dreaming, and I wasn't.
Spelled out in the stars were the words 'Will you marry me?' When I had moved my head, Logan had taken the opportunity to get down on one knee and pull out a ring. It was silver with a single, light blue, gemstone. I started to cry.
"Wait, are you okay? Is this good crying or bad crying?" Logan asked, concern in husband voice. I laughed slightly.
"Good crying. Of course I'll marry you!" I replied through the tears. Logan slipped the ring onto my finger and pulled me into a kiss. It was soft and sweet, yet full of love and passion at the same time. After I was done crying, I turned to my new fiancée.
"Can I tell you something?" I asked
"of course. You can tell me anything, dear" he replied
"I already knew you were going to propose. Virgil sent me a text that must have been meant for Roman, saying he had to help you figure out how to propose" I told him. He laughed.
"Well, I guess that just shows that things don't always have to go as planned for them to be great" he told me. I nodded
~~about 30 minutes later~~
Logan stopped the car at our house and we got out. We walked up to the front door and he opened it, before immediately closing it again.
"Let's go for a walk" he suggested
"Ok?" I replied, slightly confused but willing to go along with whatever adventures my fiancée had planned.
~~~~~~~
Boom! Virgil sent the text to Patton! Patton and Logan are engaged! What do y'all think Logan saw behind that door that he didn't want Patton to see? I didn't actually come up with that proposal, it's from an episode of friends, Major props to you if you picked up on that. Until next time, take it easy guys gals and nonbinary pals, peace out!
