~~later that night~~
Virgil's POV
I was sitting sitting on my bed, texting Roman when I heard a knock on my door.
"Come on in, Logan" I called. He opened the door and stepped in.
"How did you-" he began
"Dad knocks differently than you do" I interrupted him. As Logan sat down on my bed, I quickly texted to Roman 'gtg, have to help Logan figure out how to propose to my dad, ttyl. Love you ❤️', then turned to Logan.
"So, do you have any idea how you want to do this?" I asked. Logan shook his head. I sighed. Then it hit me.
"Oo! Let's start by making a list of all the important places in your relationship so far!" I exclaimed, grabbing a piece of notebook paper off my desk.
"Let's see, where did you guys go on your first date?" I asked
"We just went out and got dinner at that cafe that was on Main Street that closed a few months ago" he replied. I wrote 'cafe that doesn't exist' on the paper
"Where did you guys kiss for the first time?" I asked. Logan paused for a second, probably trying to remember.
"Oh! It was our second date, we went and got ice cream, then went to the planetarium" he responded. I added 'ice cream and space' to the list.
"What did you do for your first anniversary?" I asked
"I recreated the planetarium date. Your dad's really sentimental, so it felt like the perfect choice" he replied. I looked up at him with a 'seriously?' look at my face.
"What's with the expression?" He asked
"You mean to tell me that two of the major events in your relationship happened on essentially the same date, and you actually didn't know how you wanted to propose to him?" I asked
"Yeah, I don't know what you're imp-ohhhhhh" he said
"Yeah, you're gonna recreate that planetarium date again" I told him
"That sounds like a good idea, but when would I propose? At the ice cream place? At the planetarium? Somewhere in between?" He asked. I thought for a second before gasping as an idea struck me.
"Here's what you're gonna do..." I began explaining my plan
"Sound good?" I finished. He nodded.
"Great. I'm gonna get some sleep. Night" I said.
"Goodnight, Virgil" Logan said, walking out of my room. Before I actually tried to sleep, I looked at my phone, and my eyes went wide. That text got sent to someone who it should NOT have been sent to.

Who do you think got the text? How do you think Logan will propose? You'll find out soon! Until next time, take it easy guys gals and nonbinary pals, peace out!
-Virgil (yeah, I changed my name again)
