Time Skip! Virgil is 14 and in 8th grade now!
Virgil's POV
I was hanging out on my bed, scrolling through tumblr when I heard a knock on my door.
"Come In" I said. Logan walked in.
"What's up?" I asked
"I need your advice on something" he said
"I don't know why you thought a 14 year old was the right person to come to for advice, but ask away. What do you need advice on?" I told him
"If someone were to propose marriage to your father, how do you think would be the best way to do that?" Logan asked. My eyes went wide.
"Are you going to propose?" I asked
"I-if that's alright with you?" Logan said, seemingly unsure of his answer
"Look. I'll admit, it was a bit weird at first for me to have my dad dating my teacher, but I've known him for 9 years, and I've never seen him happier than when he's with you. I'm perfectly fine with it" I told him, pulling him into an awkward hug. I heard footsteps, but I figured it was just dad getting home from work. Then I heard a soft knock on my door and I saw it open.
"Aww. Look at my two boys hanging out together" Dad said. I groaned, pulling away from the hug.
"I picked up pizza for dinner on my way back from work. We're eating in a couple minutes" Dad told us, leaving the room.
"We'll finish talking about this later?" Logan asked me. I nodded.
