"'Issued on behalf of, the Ministry of Magic, protecting your home and family,' blah, blah, blah... 'The Wizarding community is currently under threat from an organization calling itself the Death Eaters. Observing the following security guidelines will help protect you, your family, and your home from attack.
"'1, You are advised not to leave the house alone. 2, Particular care should be taken during the hours of darkness. Wherever possible, arrange' – More hogwash – '4, Agree on security questions with close friends and family so as to detect Death Eaters masquerading as others by use of the Polyjuice Potion (see page 2)' – And just more nonsense!" I breathe, letting the purple leaflet fall to the ground while I lay on the bed with my head hanging off it.
The room dimly lit from the candles scattered around on the dressers and small coffee table. George sitting by my side his back against the wall, and Fred occupying himself with plans around the room. We're all tired from a hard days work around the shop; helping customers, restocking the shelves, and in the evenings brainstorming new products to add.
I had spent the first week and a half of holidays by my parents with Hermione as promised, before heading off to the twins at their shop, and Hermione planned to go to the Burrow the day after my departure; to which she sent an owl once she arrived.
It was a little awkward at first once I arrived by the twins, I hadn't exactly planned on sharing a bed with them and they certainly caught me off guard when we returned to King's Cross station from Hogwarts. And the fact that I'm sharing the bed with two very identical and fine-looking twins, it certainly has my heart fluttering in different ways.
The only thing missing from the holiday is the usual letter from Draco that I would always receive on the first day of holidays. This time I haven't received anything, it's been complete radio silence, which only makes me expect the worst from the situation.
"It's all hogwash, really. If You-Know-Who wants to get a hold of you he will, no matter what," George speaks up, grabbing my attention.
"We just have to find more ways to make it safer for people, or things that can help better equip them against any Death Eaters or You-Know-Who," adds Fred.
Rolling onto my stomach I reply, "we should actually take some ideas from the leaflet. Try and see if we can make something that helps detect someone that's using Polyjuice Potion, or items which help with extra security around the home."
"Sounds like a good idea, we can add those items to the collection of Shield Hats we already have," answers Fred, as he scribbles away on one of the parchments.
"I think it's time for bed, it's another busy day tomorrow and I think my O.W.L results are coming in," I say, yawning widely.
"Right let me just finish here," mutters Fred.
George and I begin prepping the sheets on the bed and clearing away any scrap parchments lying around on the floor. By the time Fred finishes with his ideas, George and I are already lying in bed.
Since the time I arrived I have claimed the middle of the bed, even though the twins also insisted on it, while George chose the right side of me, and Fred on the left. And even to this day it's still a bit of a struggle to fall asleep because no matter which way I lie I am so close and enclosed by the twins' tall bodies, occasionally their faces only mere inches away from mine.
Fred doesn't help the situation because the times that I face him he winks at me in that tempting manner and then I can't seem to take my eyes off his lips, the very lips that have kissed me over and over in my fifth year.
And most of the times when we wake up in the mornings, I am so entangled with legs and arms from both of them as they sandwich me between the two of them that I helplessly just lay in bed because I cannot move.
