As I enter the Great Hall for breakfast the next morning with Hermione, Ron, and Harry the first thing we see is Draco who seems to be entertaining a large group of Slytherin's with a very funny story.

I follow Hermione to the Gryffindor table and as Harry passes, Draco does a ridiculous impression of a swooning fit and there is a roar of laughter.

"Thanks a lot Nyx," Harry says as he walks on annoyed.

"Ignore him," says Hermione, who is right behind Harry, next to me. "Just ignore him, it's not worth it..."

"Hey, Potter!" shrieks Pansy Parkinson, a Slytherin girl with a face like a pug; hearing her voice instantly makes me groan out of displeasure. "Potter! The dementor's are coming, Potter! Wooooooooo!"

Harry drops into a seat next to George Weasley and I stand behind him.

"New third-year course schedules," says George, passing them over. "What's up with you, Harry? Hello Nyx."

I wave hello as Ron responds sitting down on George's other side and glaring over at the Slytherin table. "Malfoy."

George looks up in time to see Draco pretending to faint with terror again.

"That little git," he says calmly. "He wasn't so cocky last night when the dementor's were down at our end of the train. Came running into our compartment, didn't he, Fred?"

"Nearly wet himself," says Fred, with a contemptuous glance at Draco.

I poke George on the back. "That is not what you said last night. You told me he came looking for me," I say to George.

Fred turns to look at me. "Only trying to make Harry feel better, why did you have to ruin it?"

"I prefer the first story about how he wet himself," Ron laughs.

"Anyways." I lean in towards George and whisper into his ear, ensuring no one can hear, "here are your papers I revised, I forgot to give them to you earlier." Sticking my hand in my robe pocket I pull out the papers George gave me that day at the Leaky Cauldron to go through for their new joke items and hand it to him.

He takes them quickly, making sure no one else sees. He then carries on as if nothing happened.

"I wasn't too happy myself," George says to the others, joining back into the conversation.

I head off towards the Slytherin table as they continue their conversation about the dementors.

Tracey hands me my schedule. "I see you've decided on Care of Magical Creatures and Ancient Runes."

"Yeah, the others didn't really interest me any ways," I respond.

She then points to another two subjects which take place after all our lessons. "Ghoul Studies and Art... You've taken extra subjects on top of what we were given to decide from? Why would you do that?" she asks baffled.

"Well, you know I like to draw and that will only help me become better at it. And who wouldn't want to learn about vampires, Veela's, poltergeists, and whatnot."

"Me! I would never do that to myself," she responds.

"Well, that's just a matter of opinion I suppose," I say as I help myself to some sausages and mash.

As breakfast ends Tracey and I make our way to our first lesson of Transfiguration with Professor McGonagall.

"Good morning everyone, this year we will be learning a lot more compared to last. And I think we'll start off with a subject that some of you might quite enjoy." The Professor's eyes sparkle towards me as she says, "Animagus. Now who can tell me what that is?"
