Chapter 3 - The Rude Girl

Emily's P.O.V

I was standing in the women's section of the shop folding up some shirts and fixing the display of them to keep it all in order. Suddenly, I heard a voice saying "This way, HURRY up!". I turned to see where the voice came from and saw a girl who was quite tall with long blonde straight hair, her eyes were hazel coloured and she wore very expensive looking clothes and heels, except her top was stained and wet.

Behind her I saw a boy, fairly short with brown/ blonde hair wearing casual clothes. He looked familiar but I couldn't think of where I've seen him. He's gorgeous...

"Let's ask this worker," she said and strutted up to me. 'Worker really?' I thought but quickly let it go as she was stood in front of me. "Women's tops, where are they?" She said rather rudely. "We have our casual t-shirts here and then our dressier tops over there," I said and smiled. She gave me a look and walked off towards the dressier tops. Rude.

"Hey sorry about her, I spilt a drink on her and now I have to buy her a new top!" The boy explained to me. "Don't worry about it, do you know her then?" I asked him. "No, my mates suggested I took her to get a top just to humiliate me," he said. "Oh," I replied nodding.

"Look at these," the girl shouted to no one in particular and the boy sent me a warm smile as he walked towards her. I went back to folding clothes, trying to get over her rudeness.

All I could here was her making rude comments about him or the clothes, but all I could think about was how gorgeous he was and how I recognised him!

Connors P.O.V

I gave the girl a smile and walked off towards Hallie, well I noticed that's what her necklace says so I assume that's her name. The girl who helped us was so nice...and gorgeous. She dealt with Hallie really well considering the way Hallie was talking to her. She was so rude! She walked over to the changing rooms whilst I checked my phone for texts from the boys.

I texted them back saying it's ok and I'll meet them at home later since I'll probably be here a while! I sat down and waited... And waited... And waited. Hallie just kept browsing for what felt like ages, but in reality was only 10 minutes. Hopefully she will just pick and I can leave. Maybe I should say something...
