Connors P.O.V
I decided I would politely ask if she had picked yet. "Um, Hallie, is it. I was just wondering if you've chosen a top yet, it's just I don't really have all day," I said from outside the changing room. Suddenly she marched out and stood in front of me. "ARE YOU JOKING? It's your fault I have to get a new top!" She said angrily. "Look, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. I was just wondering if you're ready to go?" I explained to her nicely. "DON'T PUT ON THE NICE BOY ACT! AND NO, I'M NO WHERE NEAR READY TO GO!" She shouted in my face and pushed me backwards. I staggered back a bit and as I thought I regained my balance, I tripped over my own foot and fell backwards, landing with a huge CRASH!
Emily's P.O.V
I continued folding clothes but couldn't get that boy off my mind. I just decided to forget about it and kept doing what I'm meant to do.
Suddenly I heard shouting coming from near the changing rooms and headed over. When the changing rooms were in sight I noticed that girl from earlier screaming at someone. As I got even closer I realised she was shouting at that boy!
Just as I was about to ask her to calm down and call the manager she pushed the boy down. He stumbled back a few steps then balanced for a split second before tangling his own feet up and falling down onto his arm and back with a loud CRASH!
I rushed over and knelt by his side. "Oh my goodness! Are you okay?" I asked and he nodded but you could see he wasn't. The girl on the other hand decided to keep saying rude things to him and saying he still has to pay for her top, how rude is that! I grabbed my walky talky from the waistband of my skirt and called security and the manager to the women's clothes department. I crouched back down and helped the boy up. "I'm Emily by the way," I smiled. "Connor." He replied in pain but not wanting to show it.
Right on cue, security took the girl away and banned her from the shop. The manager, Lucy, came over to me and Connor. "Hi, I'm Lucy the store manager. I can't apologise enough for what's happened. I understand if you want to file a complaint..." Lucy rambled on but Connor stopped her. "Honestly it's fine, it was that mad women's fault not yours." He said to us both. Lucy gave him another apology.
"Can I see you arm?" I asked Connor and he nodded pulling his sleeve up wincing. It was already bruised purple/ blue at the elbow. "I think that's a hospital job," Lucy said as if she was reading my mind. "Yeah, do you have a phone so I can call a taxi to go to A&E?" He asked us politely. "Emily can take you!" Lucy exclaimed. "You don't have to..." Connor started but Lucy cut him off. "Please, take it as a sorry gift?" She pleaded and he nodded. Really I was quite happy!
"Okay, I'll just grab my bag," I said as Connor nodded and I got my bag from the staff area and took off my walky talky. I walked back out to find Connor waiting for me. "My cars parked out back." I smiled. "Thanks for this, I owe you," he said. "It's my pleasure, you don't owe me anything." I said as we climbed into the car.
"Could you get the satnav out of the glove box please," I said and he nodded chuckling. "What?" I asked and took it from him. "You live in London and don't know your way around." He said. "Well when I finished school I moved here from Norwich. Originally I'm from Norfolk, but when I moved to London, my family moved to Birmingham, I go there quite often though." I said as we started driving. "Cool, well I live in Birmingham too. I'm originally from Aberdeen, Scotland. Clearly I don't have that accent! Me and my band mates rent an apartment here for when we have business in London." He said. "Band?" I questioned. "Yes, were called the vamps. We started posting covers on youtube and we've now just been signed by a label!" He exclaimed. "Wow, that's where I recognise you from, you seemed familiar but now I realise I've seen your covers, I had no idea you'd been signed though! Well done! I post youtube videos and Vlogs too but I like to post covers. I've loved singing since forever but it's never taken off too far as a main thing to do so at the minute I get money from my youtube videos, I'm so happy with that. And obviously my shop job but that's more for experience." I explained. "Cool, me and my band have seen a few of your covers I think." he said and we pulled into the carpark.
"Oh no." I mumbled. "What?" He asked. "There's not too many spaces and I'm not the best Parker." I said warning him as we both laughed. I managed to park without embarrassing myself too much!"Let's go," I said grabbing my bag and locking the car.
