Chapter 11 - Mixed Reactions

Connors P.O.V

It's official, myself and Emily have informed the fans and public of our relationship, so far the fans are taking it well. I haven't really had a chance to read many tweets about it yet but hopefully they will all be positive!

We decided to head back to our place with Em and she'll probably stay over. I'm so happy I've finally found the one for me. Emily Day. I love her.

We all climbed into the car and drove back . The traffic was good so it didn't take too long. We all piled into the lift and headed to the right floor. James unlocked the front door and we went in, going in different directions. Tris went to the lounge with brad, James to the kitchen, and me and em headed to my room.

"Em," I started and she looked at me and nodded as if she was saying to continue. "I just wanted to thank you, I know it hasn't been TOO long but I can honestly say, I love you." I finished. She smiled at me and then replied with "I love you too con," and then we shared a sweet kiss.

I got my laptop out and put on some youtubers me and em both watched. We just lied there tangled in each other's arms and kissing occasionally.

"CEMILY!!!!" I heard the boys shout from the kitchen. "Cemily?" I asked em. "I don't know?" She replied confused. We walked through to the kitchen to see the boys had cooked wedges and lasagne. We sat down and tucked in. "Thanks boys, did you make this?" Emily asked the others. "Uhhhhhh YES!" Brad said but then whispered. "Hide the box... Hide the box!" And we all laughed.

"Oh what's CEMILY?" I asked brad. "Your ship name with em! Fans started it" He said in a duh voice. We just nodded and laughed. We all finished and Emily started to clear up and I joined her whilst the others went to chose a film to watch. After we finished the washing up/clearing up we headed to the lounge too.

"what'd you pick?" I asked and they all replied with "GROWN UPS!" I knew this was one of Ems favourites so hopefully she will be happy. We sat down. Me and em on the main sofa cuddled, brad next to em but landing the other way, tris and James sat on the floor for some reason even though there was the other couch.

Emily's P.O.V

Halfway through the film I got annoyed at my phone so excused myself to check it. I had loads of notifications on twitter. I scrolled through them to see that all of the once positive comments had now been washed away with negative ones. Things like 'ugly' 'slut' 'get a life' 'Connors mine' 'she's fat'. I managed to push these to the back of my mind until I saw a few comments saying 'you should kill yourself, do us all a favour!'. A stray tear rolled down my face but I was quick to wipe it away. Not wanting to be defeated by them and I didn't want to cry in front of the boys.

I simply walked back and sat down again. Staring into space, trying to forget those comments. Connor whispered in my ear "you okay babe?" And I just nodded and fake smiled. He didn't look convinced but decided to leave it.

Why don't they like me. I haven't done anything to them. I expected mixed reactions but was hoping for more positive than negative!
