Chapter 10 - Telling the Fans

Emily's P.O.V

I woke up in my bed at 10pm. I remember last night, after the kiss we got ice cream from a cute shop and just talked and talked. This is what I like about Connor, he doesn't just want to get in my pants! I'm glad because I've been brought up by the idea of 'no sex before marriage' and I can understand and agree with it.

I have no work today so up until lunch I decided to clean the flat and do the laundry. I finished at 1pm and decided to text Con asking if he wanted to grab lunch.

Text to Connor:

Hey, are you and the lads free to grab lunch? I was thinking a waggamamas, let me know xx

He replied a few minutes later.

Text from Connor:

Sure, waggamamas sounds good! Pick you up in 10? xxx

I replied with a quick yes and quickly did my makeup. I was wearing a swing dress, black tights, my favourite everyday boots and my leather backpack style bag. I did natural makeup to compliment my outfit. I put my purse, phone and keys in my bag along with other essentials.

Soon there was a knock on the door and I answered it. "Hey," Connor said smiling and hugging me. "Hi," I replied locking my door and heading down to the car with him. "You look beautiful," he said as we got to the car, I just leaned in and kissed him as a thank you.

I got in the front realising the other three boys were in the back and would've seen out kiss. "GET SOME, CONNOR!" Tris shouted as we got in. "YES, CON! GET IN THERE!" Brad shouted and James laughed. Connor muttered a short "shut up!" And I just hid my face in my hands.

We arrived to waggamamas after a short drive filled with lots of comments about me and Connor. We just laughed it off, they meant no harm!

We sat down at a table in the back and ordered out food. "When you gonna tell the fans?" James asked. "I dunno, I was gonna tweet but I needed to ask em first," Connor replied then looked at me. "Yeah, we could tweet it," I agreed and we pulled out our phones. Connor tweeted first.

Connors tweet:

'Letting you all know I love you all, but there's a special place in my heart for my girlfriend, @emilyday ❤️'

Aww he's so cute! I thought about it and then I decided on doing an indirect tweet...

I then tweeted:

'Don't you just love it when that empty feeling in your heart is suddenly filled up❤️'

I put my phone down and just listened to Connor and James conversation, occasionally adding a sentence or two. My phone vibrated from the table so I decided to check it.

There was a text from brad, a tweet from brad and a tweet from the band account.

Text from Brad:

'OMG FEELS I CANT EVEN PLEASE STOPPPPP OMG AHHHHHHH TOO CUTE!'

I looked confused then another text from him came through.

'(check twitter silly!)'

I did as he said and went into twitter. He had posted a picture of me and Connor cuddling in the sofa asleep with the caption:

'FINALLY! They're together wooooo'

Then the band account had tweeted:

'Congrats to @thevampscon and @emilyday for finally becoming a couple!💖'

I then noticed all of the replies were things like what brad said, such as omg feels, too cute and sew on! I laughed and favourited a few tweets and then food arrived. I had told myself not to look at the tweets anymore and just wait till I get home or back to cons. We ate and chatted and had a great time.

"I'm stuffed!" I said and Connor and the boys nodded in agreement. "Come back to ours?" Brad offered. "Uh, yeh," I said remembering all my housework was done so I had nothing to for the remainder if the day. "LETS GO THEN YAYYYY!" Connor shouted in a Davey Jones accent and we laughed and followed him!
