Chapter 7 - Sleepover

Emily's P.O.V

As soon as I got home I just went straight to bed. I was so tired.

I woke up the next day by my alarm. Although it annoyed me, it was a good thing because if not I would have been late for work. I jumped in the shower and put on my clothes. I decided to wear black skinny jeans, a pale yellow long sleeved blouse style shirt, my black boots and my hair in a ponytail with a pale yellow bandanna in it. I did my usual makeup and Checked the time. I noticed I have half an hour before I have to leave so I poured myself some cereal and sat down. As I was eating I checked my phone because I hadn't since last night. I had 1 twitter notification, a tweet from Connor.

1 new tweet:
'Just wanted to thank @emilyday for taking me to A&E yesterday and then chilling with us boys :) x'

I went on to my texts to message Connor about later but I realised they made a group chat so I knew their contact names without having to scroll through my contacts to find them. They put their names in as Brad💜, Con💙, James💚, and Tris💛. They're so cute.

I sent a text to Con asking about what's happening today and he said he's not sure so I decided I'd ring him when I came out of work. I grabbed my bag and got in my car and started to drive. When I got there I informed Lucy of what happened yesterday at hospital and she sent them an apology email. I was on tills this morning which I like to do, I find it fun. The morning went quickly and Lucy let me go 30 minutes early because it wasn't too busy.

I decided to get a subway roll for my lunch and I also got a few bags of their cookies, one bag for my flat, then the other bags to take for the boys. I drove home and eat my subway. I decided to ring Connor because I need to know what to wear.

*PHONE CALL TO CONNOR*

Oh hi, what's up?
Nothing, just wondering what do I need to bring/ wear?
Um I think we're gonna chill out and do a live stream, maybe do a video update for the vamps youtube

*END OF CALL*

I decided I wouldn't change because my outfit seemed okay but I would take some comfy clothes just in case. I also grabbed my laptop and vlogging camera as I have been vlogging bits and bobs of my week. I grabbed my bags and headed out the door. I started the drive, remembering the way from yesterday.

I knocked on the door and James answered. "YAYYYYY!" He shouted and the other boys ran to the door. "What?" I said confused by his cheering. "We've been waiting for you! It's been boringggggg!" Tris said. We all started laughing and they invited me in.

It was now 2pm. "Whatcha wanna do?" Brad asked me. "I don't mind, what do you guys wanna do?" I asked him in reply. "We have a list of things to do by tomorrow, twitcam (which we're doing later), a video for our channel, and choose a new song to cover." James said and then added "I hope you don't mind!" I laughed and said it was okay. "Can you help us? You do youtube!" Connor said. "Uh, yeah sure," I replied with a smile

The boys started to do an 'update video' which I helped them film. After they finished, I pulled out my vlogging camera and started to vlog whilst they were chatting. "Hi guys, today I had a half day at work which you saw a little bit of, and now I'm at my friends flat, you might know them, they go by the name of 'The Vamps' and I'll leave all their links below so go check them out they're amazing!" I said to the camera and as I was about to turn it off all four boys jumped up behind me and screamed. "Ahhhh!" I shouted because they made me jump! "Actually guys, don't check out their links," I winked to the camera.

"Your vlogging?" Connor asked. "Yeah bits and bobs and I'm putting it into a weekly vlog," I said and he smiled. We all sat down and went on our laptops. I decided to tweet.

New tweet:
'Hanging out with my favourites, you'll see them in my weekly vlog so keep you eyes peeled for that! @thevamps'

The boys saw it and each retweeted it. "Oh, love the hearts by your names in my phone by the way!" I exclaimed. "Thanks, we've all put you with the two little pink hearts! HEART GANG!" Brad shouted and we all went into hysterics. I remembered about the cookies and went to get them. "Oh, I brought you all cookies, don't worry there's no nuts," I said directing the last part at Con. They all cheered and started munching away. I just had a bite of Connors. I took this opportunity to get changed.

I walked back into the room and got lots of compliments on my jumper and we all laughed. "Thanks" I replied to their compliments. I checked the time and it was 6:50pm. Wow time flys. "Boys are you doing your live stream at 7?" I asked them. "Yeah" they replied. "Well you have ten minutes to set it up." I laughed and they rushed around to set the laptop up. They decided to have it facing the smaller couch so they could all be seen.

I decided I would make some dinner and asked James if that was okay. He said yes and told me where everything is. I got out the pasta and the pasta sauce ready for when the waters boiled. I put the water in the saucepan to boil and added the pasta.

Whilst it was cooking I heard the boys call my name. I walked into the room and smiled. "Be in our twitcam" brad said. "Pleaseeee" they all said giving me puppy dog eyes. "Okay," I laughed and poked my head in. "Hi" I waved to the camera. I then got back out of the way again. "Stayyyy," Connor said. "There's no room on the couch!" I laughed. Instead of replying Con just pulled me onto his lap. "Easy!" Connor smiled knowing he'd won. There were lots of nice comments, some saying I was pretty, some saying they liked my jumper, some saying they watch my videos, but some being hateful but I just ignored them as best I could. I just sat and answered questions for five minutes and then said I have to go because the pastas nearly done. "PASTAAAA!" They all shouted excitedly and then continued on with the twitcam.

I walked into the kitchen and drained the pasta and mixed in the sauce, I put it into five bowls and walked 4 through to the boys as they thanked me and I walked back to get mine and my camera.

I sat down next to the laptop so I was there but wasn't in view. The boys scoffed theirs down while I secretly filmed them and they ended the twitcam. I washed up the bowls and put them away. I then cleared up all the other things and the boys helped. "What now?"I asked and Connor said "MOVIE!" We all laughed but then Brad said "what about picking our next cover song?" We decided to do that first so we went into the music room. It was amazing, it had guitars, drums and a piano.

The boys gathered around the drum kit to talk about the song they would do and I sat down at the piano. I let my fingers loose and they started quietly playing Rude by Magic. Eventually I ended up singing it as well and when I finished and turned around to see the boys clapping and Connor filming me! I hid my face in my hands and waited for them to stop.

"Your amazing!" Connor said. "Thanks, but you guys are too!" I laughed. "Thanks! I wanna sing with you!" Brad said and it resulted in them all saying 'me too'! "Well why don't we do a cover of two songs, one on your Channel, one on mine?" I asked. "YASSSSS!" They cheered. For the rest of the night we just sang and sang.

When I glanced at the clock I saw it was past midnight and Connor noticed too. "SLEEPOVER TIME!" He shouted and I agreed. We all ended up falling asleep on the couch whilst watching the films!

I feel at home with these boys, they're already like my brothers, maybe Connors a bit more?...
