A/n: Yeah, I wanted to try a Biana chapter. Sue me. I hope you don't all think this is terrible. This is just written how I remember Biana as. Enjoy!
PoV: Biana
Of anybody I had to take back to the base, it was Percy and Annabeth. It excited me quite a bit. It was just they were a couple, and the fact that neither of them were as oblivious as Sophie gave me hope for them and the extremely cute future they could have together.
The three of us went through after Sophie, Hazel, and Frank. When we got to the base Annabeth and Percy immediately went towards the building. I smiled at the couple before looking back to where the others would be coming from. Tempest and Fitz were the last ones through, and I felt bad for my brother, considering he just had to spend what had to be the longest week and a half being tormented by our brother and other Neverseen members, and then had to take one with him to the base.
I ran towards them and joined my brother in leading Tempest to the base. We weren't touching her, but we made sure she couldn't leave, which she wouldn't, so it seemed useless.
"Biana?" Fitz asked, slowing down so Tempest would walk ahead of us, " Did Tempest seem to act strange around Cassius? "
I thought about it, "Kind of, I guess. She kept her eyes down, and almost seemed to cower under him."
" That's what I thought. Do you know why? "
"You're the one who's spent the longest with her. If anyone should know, it's you."
"I know. I just thought you might know something."
Suddenly an idea came into my head, "I don't know anything yet, but I could figure something out..."
" I'm guessing this plan you're currently creating involves vanishing? "
I nodded, "It may be out best bet."
Fitz sighed, "Okay. If you learn anything... make sure it's actually important."
I rolled my eyes and smiled, " Okay. "
_______________
No good opportunities to learn anything came until late at night. I was walking in the halls and heard someone yell something. I had hurried towards the sound, but when I got there, there was talking coming from the place Tempest was staying. Vanishing, I walked around the corner to see who it was.
I found Hazel sitting on the floor having a conversation with Tempest, who's eyes were red, probably from crying, which surprised me, considering she always acted confident in front of the others. Taking a few steps closer, I heard Tempest mention "her brother". It made me curious, and I went closer until I could hear everything they said.
"Do you know your mother?" Hazel asked.
" Kind of, " Tempest replied, "I know who she is, but I've never met her."
" That kind of reminds me of how most demigods are. "
Slowly, I started backing up. No matter how much I wanted to stay and hear the rest of the conversation, I knew I had to tell Fitz. If Tempest was actually a demigod all this time... Honestly, I had no idea what that would mean, but I knew it was important.
Tempest smiled, "Well, actually -"
I backed into a pile of rocks that some idiot didn't get rid of when we started fixing the base almost two weeks ago. Quickly I ran down the hallway. I had to get out of there, even if it meant I was missing something important, which made me upset, but what I had learned was still important.
I knocked on the makeshift door to the room where Fitz was staying. "Fitz! Fitz! Fitz! Fitz! Fitz!" I said as I knocked.
When the door finally opened, Fitz looked extremely tired. "What is it, Biana? And it better be important."
" It is. I figured out something about Tempest. "
Fitz immediately looked much more awake and let me in. "What is it?" He asked after he shut the door.
" So, I may have only part of the story, but I heard Tempest and Hazel talking about something, and Hazel said Tempest's upbringing was similar to a demigod's. "
Fitz looked at me for a moment, "And?"
I rolled my eyes, "And that means that Tempest is possibly a demigod instead of an elf."
" And this is important because? "
I suddenly remembered what Keefe and I had found inside the Shores of Solace. "When Keefe and I were investigating the Shores of Solace, we found Cassius hiding in a secret room. He said he had hidden someone there. If he knows about demigods, maybe she was hurt or something and he kept her there! "
"I guess that could explain why she doesn't boss him around like she does with us..." Fitz admitted, " But it doesn't seem like Lord Cassius to save an outsider. Anything that could ruin his relationship with the councilors is a big no. "
"Yeah, I'm still trying to figure that part out..." I said, " But, until I do, we probably shouldn't tell anybody about this, in case they ask Tempest about it. "
Fitz nodded, "Okay, it's pretty late. Get back to your room before someone comes by and realizes you aren't there."
I rolled my eyes, "Like that'll happen." But still, I stood up and walked towards the door, "Remember, tell no one."
Fitz nodded again, and I smiled before slipping out the door, disappearing. Carefully I walked to my room, making sure to be as quiet as possible. Tempest and Hazel were still talking behind me, but I knew that they were talking so softly that I wouldn't be able to get close enough to them to hear without them knowing I was there. It made me upset, but I had to deal with it.
I arrived at my room and shut the door before sighing. Sure enough, no one was there, but I still didn't want to sleep. I wanted to know what was happening, but I knew I couldn't learn anything from Hazel or Tempest.
As I laid on my bed, an idea came to mind. I smiled as all the pieces formed together. If I couldn't ask Tempest herself, why not ask the person who she seems to fear? Still smiling, I turned into my side, closed my eyes, and fell asleep.
