I woke up to bright lights beaming in my eyes. I start to sit up when I hear my mom say to lay back down so I do and I fall right back to sleep. When I wake up again I'm aloud to sit up but have to stay in bed.
" Last night you where getting stuff from your locker and Josh opened his locker door and you walked right into it and it knocked you out cold. He came and told McKenzie and she came and got us and you where almost lifeless. So we rushed you to the hospital. We found out you have a major concussion and..... and a badly bruised elbow. So your arm might hurt for a while." my mom was explaining.
When she was done talking I felt as if she was keeping something from me but I didn't ask. Then my dad came into the room. he ran over and gave me a big hug, " How do you feel? Are you okay? Do you need anything?" the questions fall out of my dads mouth like water. " I'm fine a little sore and confused. But okay." I tell him so he will relax.

When I got home I went right to my room and fell asleep.
I woke up to my friends all around me with gifts.
"Hey Madi, how are you I've missed you at school these last few days." McKenzie my best friend says.
"Thanks. I've missed you guys to and going to school, but I have to say I like staying home and not dong anything." I told my friends.
"But you have to go back to school on Monday." my mom said
"Okay."
I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off and I know its Monday. Great Monday back to the normal day.
When I get back to school I noticed that a lot of the boys are looking at me like they know something about me I don't know and it was really creeping me out.
The day went by smoothly all of my teachers gave me a pass on the assignments I have missed the past few days. Which I was great full for.
When I got home I got this feeling of throwing up so I ran to the bathroom. When I got there I threw up everything I have eaten that day. After that I was fine. So I thought was part of my concussion. But boy was I wrong.
The rest of the school went by just fine except for a few of the boys looking and acting weird around me.
What I didn't know is that on April 12th 2016 my freshmen year on night of lies would change my life for bad or good without me knowing.
