You are the result, of everything I ever did,
And considering how you made my life a heaven,
I might have as well done the best of things.

The day was unbelievably fucked up!

Who knew I would find my little brother, who had barely entered his puberty, snuck into the school's backyard with a girl sitting beside him, hand in hand.

I wanted to face him but let it be. I would use it against him some other day. It could be a lot more useful, then.

While turning back, I had found Darshan sitting in a secluded class, where no light reached.

I wanted to know what goes on his mind all the time.

But the whole last week after the bullying thing, he had been, sort of ignoring me.

That included, giving short answers to my questions and smiling the smiles that never quite reached his eyes.

It always bounces right out of my mind how he always acts so nice when he clearly is devastated with the situation right now.

Any other person would go berserk and start being a mess.

He has been holding tight.

He has been holding it all in.

He hasn't let it out yet.

So, he doesn't have to clean up his mess.

Today though, I found him staring unseeingly at an orange bottle full of pills.

Oh my, was he doing drugs?

He is too young to do that.

I burst in, breathing heavily.

“Shiv, what happened?”, he asked looking at me concerned.

He was hiding here all the time.

“W.. What are you doing here? And what are those?”, I hate how my voice sounds so breathless and hoarse.

I hate it how my mind jumped into conclusions and when I jumped into the conclusion, it started stating facts.

It could be his medicine.

It could be a fucking painkiller for his leg.

It could be anything.

Although, it's suspicious how he is hiding out here with a bottle of pills, it can't be the only possibility that he is doing drugs.

“Oh, you are referring to this?”, he asks beginning to toss the bottle in his hands.

“These are some candies...”, he said.

They don't look like candies.

The bottle doesn't look like a Tic Tac.

“What kind of candy?”, I asked, slitting my eyes onto his figure.

“The type of candy that helps me handle... Stuffs... A kind of painkiller maybe?”, he replied running a hand through his hair.

“Do you have prescription?”, I asked calming down a bit.

“No. But it's harmless and has no side effects.”, he replies back.

This further more calms me down.

At least he knows what he is getting into.

At least he knows what he is doing.

“Why are you hiding in here?”, I asked closing the door behind me and slumping back beside him.
