What use could I possibly make out of myself?

That night, Rudra seemed red with anger. So much so that fumes had started coming out of either of his sides and his eyes all red.
"What was so horrid to make my always happy brother so angry?", I asked not moving my eyes from the TV to him as he paced back and forth in the living room. I would bet that if he were given something, he would break it in an instant and the topic was so out of hand that a chocolate wasn't enough to calm him down.
"It is horrendous! They are saying me to practice with Darshan...that fake, playboy who needs mental surgery for sure! Like...I am not that bad to practice with him! Just because I can't judge a fast ball doesn't mean I should be practicing with that...jerk!", he fumed as he slumped down beside me on the couch.
"Well you seemed pretty flustered when he asked you to come back to get his cricket kit", I said referring back to the incident.
"Because, I didn't know him then. I thought he was a nice guy.", he said in his defense.
"But why would you say that he is a jerk?", I said switching the channel as the ad popped up.
"Have you seen the amount of girls swooning over him? Like, most of them throw themselves over him and he doesn't make an attempt to back them off", he huffed as he threw his head back.
Hearing my fifteen-year old brother talk about girls and popularity...well, I need to control my laughter right here.
"Are you jealous?", I pursed my lips together and asked, stifling a laugh.
"No, I am not", he shrugged staring at the TV.
"But I sense that though", I said, managing not to burst open laughing.
See, my brother is actually insecure of his popularity.
"Good grief! I am thousands times better than him!", he said throwing his head back.
"What made you think that?", I said acting shocked.
"At least I don't act to be nice all the time", he mocked.
I hear a cough from the doorway and we both turn our heads to the door to find Darshan.
What the...?! From when was he here?
"Well, I am sorry to interrupt you. I just had some work with aunty and she sent me to your room. Well, umm... I think I will be a bother around here... So, I guess I better go back... ", he chuckled nervously and Rudra and I looked at each other before turning back to him.
It must have hurt him. However he doesn't show it as he smiles, nonetheless. Doesn't he feel any other emotion?
He staggered back and stumbled.
"Darshan, I -", Rudra began but Darshan's eyes shot up back Rudra flinched back.
He positioned himself, nonetheless.
"Well, I am sorry Rudra. You had to be this angry because of me. I will talk to the coach to assign you to someone else.", he smiled, a little small smile as he rushed out. On his way he staggered and stumbled, but he made his way out. Was he drunk?
