𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐈 𝐖𝐄𝐍𝐓 to the movies with Adam, Bree, Chase and Leo. Well, it was supposed to be a date with just Chase and I, but when I opened my front door, he was squished between his siblings so we ended up going with the five of us.

Sitting at two benches opposite one another, we're talking about last night's movie. As Bree and Adam are arguing about a part of the movie, Chase slides his arm around my shoulders.

It still feels a bit surreal to have him so close to me, even if he has been my boyfriend for a little over a week. I've thought about him so often since meeting him, especially after the kiss, but now those thoughts have become a reality.

Things are going really great, though he's my first boyfriend and I'm his first girlfriend, so it's a lot of figuring out together how to be in a relationship.

'So what you're saying is I have to wear those stupid glasses when watching 3-D movies?' Adam asks and scratches the back of his neck.

I'd told Adam three times last night that he had to wear the glasses, but he refused, saying he still had good eyes. 'Yes Adam. They're not called 3-D glasses for nothing,' I tell him with a chuckle. While he nods, he still seems confused about the whole concept.

'That does explain why the movie was so blurry,' he says.

'How are you still alive?' Bree asks genuinely bewildered, though sighs when Adam simply shrugs it off, not getting the sarcasm.

Leo approaches us as he's dancing. I have to admit, Leo may not be the best at many things, he can definitely dance. He doesn't waste another minute to boast about his birthday again. He hasn't been able to talk about anything else for the past week and it's starting to get tiresome.

Last year, his mother Tasha had made a life-sized cake for Leo. I would know since she'd invited everyone from all of his classes, meaning I was invited too. I can personally vouch that Leo tasted deliciously, though it was also when I truly learnt who Leo actually was. Before that he was someone I didn't really know from class.

Leo spots Janelle, a girl from our class who he has the biggest crush on. He barely bids us farewell as he "smoothly" walks over to Janelle, but unfortunately for him, he stumbles into a trashcan which scares off Janelle. Leo is persistent though and stalks after her.

'Alright, party, wow!' Adam cheers and raises his arms in the air as though he's going down on a roller coaster.

I furrow my brows together when a realization hits me. 'I'm not invited yet. Are you guys?' I ask, feeling a little stupid it didn't click earlier, but I'm met with three shaking heads.

'Tasha did tell him that she wasn't going to be there, but Leo thinks it's just another excuse for his surprise party,' Chase says. 'I think he's certain that a party will be thrown for him on Saturday.'

Bree's eyes light up, sparkling brightly in the fluorescent light. 'Oh, I know! We can just throw him a surprise party,' she beams and clasps her hands together in front of her lips.

Adam, Bree and Chase all make some suggestions for the surprise party, but they are honestly the worst I've ever heard. None of them will make Leo happy, only themselves. I wish I could help, but I've been scheduled to work every night until Monday night.

'Will you be there Saturday too, Addilynn?' Bree asks and pouts like a little child in the hope I'll say yes. Or at least, that's what I'm assuming.

'I can be there at nine PM,' I reply.
