Looking for the stories prom...
I wasn't inspired at all while writing this, it all came out when I was depressed one night and I couldn't explain myself at all.. I felt the pen moving on its own drawing all of these thoughts into the paper
2 what was something you struggled with for your story ?
I think I struggled most on how to deliver a message in poems.. you see, i always thought whenever I read poetry its somehow too sophisticated to grasp the real message behind it.. I thought why not do that in simple, relatable way
3 what has been the overall response to your story from your readers?
Highly positive!! That made me even more brave to post more of what I thought no one should ever read...
4 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?
People would relate to my poems and it makes writing the new parts even more enjoyable to me actually
5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series?
Nah not at all.. who knows? Maybe it will be part of a series
6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?
It's totally OK not to be OK.. just find a way to express that and seek out for help if it's needed
7 what's a piece of advice you would provide to another writer, when it comes to focusing on their story?
I think you should always have high hopes and be positive of what you write.. it's great you took a step in writing whether they are baby steps or huge steps.. at least you worked and still working hard
8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?
This is a poetry book so there isnt any main characters, but I can relate to all the poems since almost all of them are based on my experiences
9 what's something you believe would draw in new readers?
Maybe the cover? talking seriously, I think if they have had the same experiences written in the book they may get attached to it
10 do you have any future projects?
I've been thinking a lot about posting a new book rather than poetry.. so stay tuned ❤
