*Katniss's POV*
"Along with that, Effie's pregnant," Haymitch says with a sly grin on his face. All that I can think is 'Haymitch got some. I hope he minded his manners.' I scoff at that thought in my mind. Everyone stares at me like I've done something wrong.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to do that out loud. I just thought of something funny," I say, trying to cover it up.
"What was it, sweetheart?" Haymitch asks.
"Wouldn't you like to know," I throw back at him teasingly. Just then, there's a pounding on my door. Peeta and I get up to answer it, and see someone we haven't seen in a few years.
"Well, it's about time, lovebirds! I was beginning to think that I would have to take an axe to your door!" Johanna threatened. I just go up to her and hug her. After I pull away, I expect Peeta to give her a hug too, but he just smiles at something behind her, and I notice two other figures from our honeymoon in Seven.
"Samantha! And Lennie, right?" I never thought I would see them again. Each of them hug me and Peeta, and we lead them to the dining table where Effie and Haymitch are sat.
"Haymitch and Effie, do you want to tell Johanna the news?" Peeta asks. They just look at each other, and when I look at Johanna, I see her look between the two of them.
"ARE YOU MARRIED?!" she screams. Just then, Willow toddles in from the living room and whimpers a bit by the loud noise. "AND IS THAT YOURS, LOVEBIRDS?!"
"Yes, Johanna. It's our daughter. But Haymitch and Effie are only engaged right now," Peeta says as I pick up Willow, trying to calm her down.
"Effie is also expecting," Haymitch says quickly, as if trying to say it so fast that nobody will hear. Johanna, Lennie, and Samantha just stand there with their mouths hanging open.
"That kills our announcement," Lennie mutters.
"Oh, we can still them," Johanna says.
"LENNIE AND JO ARE GETTING MARRIED!" Samantha announces. She carries the trait of being boisterous that Johanna has too. Then I finally process what she's saying. There are two couples that are engaged. Two upcoming weddings.
"Johanna, congratulations! And to you, Lennie!" I say, hugging them both with my free arm. When I hug Johanna, Willow smacks her in the face softly.
"I don't think she likes me," Johanna says.
"She does that when she likes someone," Peeta reassures. Which is true. She's a strange one.
We all sit at the table talking while Peeta goes and makes lamb stew for supper, catching up on the past two years. Another person knocks on the door, and Willow and I get it. It's only then that we see a bronze haired man. Very much alive, and healthy. He's real, though he can't be.
Standing in the doorframe is none other than Finnick Odair, with Annie and Finn.
A/N: Whaaaaaa? Finnick? How is that possible? And Johanna is engaged? It's all too much! I finally hung out with the guy yesterday. He beat me at chess... We were restricted to two rooms in my house, so we couldn't do much. But it was still fun. Hopefully I'll be able to explain all of this within the next week. I still haven't done any homework. Whoops. Hope you all had a good Christmas or happy holidays and an awesome New Years! Here's to a better year than last!
