Liu Yuxin was sure that there was fishy activity going on at her company grounds.
Lin Fan, that journalist girl that Kiki often dispatches to stalk people, has been lurking around her company these days. When she asked Kiki about it, she said that she hadn't made Lin Fan stalk anybody.
"I'm suspicious of that girl, Lin Fan," Yuxin told her wife one night as they lay in bed. "She's been lurking around my company like a predator on the prowl!
"Maybe you should just let her be," Xueer said as she played with Yuxin's short and scruffy hair.
"I can't just let her be!" Yuxin gasped. "What if she's just like that reporter who outed us? There's a lot of gay idols in my company! I can't let them go through what we had to go through!"
Xueer knew where Yuxin's anxiety with reporters was coming from. They both had to deal with decades worth of hate because of that one reporter who exposed their relationship when their country was not as accepting yet. However, it was very obvious that Lin Fan was gayer than a unicorn wearing a snapback, cuffed pants, and Doc Martens, swimming in a pool Skittles while pooping out rainbows. The point is, Yuxin probably didn't need to worry too much about that.
"Liu Yuxin, you really need to dust your gaydar," Xueer deadpanned.
"What does this have to do with my gaydar?" Yuxin indignantly retorted. "My gaydar is fine!"
"You know what? Nevermind."
Yuxin's conspiracy theories about Lin Fan evolved overnight rapidly overnight. How exactly did they evolve? Kind of like how Magicarp evolved into Gyarados and back into Magicarp. Xueer tried her best to listen to all of them, but even to the dumbest dodo on Earth, Liu Yuxin's theories would sound kind of stupid.

"You know, I've noticed that Lin Fan has frequently been going home with someone really tall from our company," Yuxin mentioned when she was eating with Xueer. "Maybe she's dating that person."
"It could be true," Xueer said, relieved that Yuxin had finally recovered her common sense.
"But couldn't that person also be a spy?" Yuxin waved her chopsticks around. "A spy who's channeling our secret info to her."
"Baobei, seriously now-"
"Oh my god! What if Lin Fan is acting on her own, spying for another news media company to get dirt on our friendship circle?"
"There's no way-"
"Wait! Maybe it's not for another company but Diamond's rivals! Diamond did mention that she is handling a big case related to corruption in big name companies this time. Maybe it's those people who dispatched her!! They want her to dig out secrets that can possibly ruin us."
