Diamond and Yu Yan looked over at where the sound was coming from to see Kiki waving at them. The two swam across the sea of people at the cafe to get to their table at the corner.
"I'm sorry. I hope we aren't too late," Yu Yan apologized as she took a seat. "There was a terrible traffic jam near Chengxuan's school."
"It's okay," Xiaotang yawned. "You guys aren't too late. I'm already on my third cup of coffee."
Shuxin hit Xiaotang in the arm and lightly scolded her. Xiaotang gave her wife a cheeky smile.
"Now that all of us are here, let's begin!" Kiki clapped her hands.
Because Kiki clapped her hands, Yuxin also decided to clap her hands as well. And then Xueer. And then Shaking. And then Shuxin. And then Xiaotang. And then Diamond. Yu Yan just sat there, confused.
"Why are y'all clapping?" she whispered to her wife.
"I have no idea," Diamond whispered back.
Yu Yan awkwardly clapped. Unfortunately, everyone had stopped clapping and she was the only one left.
"Why are you still clapping, baobei?" Diamond asked her.
"I have no idea," Yu Yan shook her head.
"It's okay. You can stop clapping now," Shaking said. "Kiki and I have something to say."
Before Kiki could even open her mouth, exclamations came from all directions.
"Y'all having a baby????"
"Oh my god! That's why I told you to use protection, Kiki! Poor Keyin!!!"
"I am pretty sure that's not how it works, baobei."
"But still!"
"QUIET!!!!"
Shaking's roar silenced the whole cafe. Everyone turned to them with narrowed eyes.
"Oops!" Shaking's hand flew to her mouth. "Sorry!"
"Anyway," Kiki waved everyone off. "Where were we? Oh yes. We have something important to say... Shaking, show them the ring!!!"
Shaking dramatically stuck her hand out.
"Yes! That's right people!!" Kiki giggled happily. "We are engaged!!!!!!"

It was quiet for a few seconds.
"Um, guys?" Kiki squeaked.
The table errupted into a loud cheer.
"Finally!" Yu Yan jumped up "FINALLY!!!"
"We thought you were going to be forever alone after playing around so much!" Diamond wiped a tear.
"Congratulations!" Yuxin smiled and formally shook both Kiki and Shaking's hands.
