"Kai, slow down! Baby you're gonna lose me!" Mattia called out after the younger.

Kairi ignored him, running off to God knows where.

It was currently 12 am and the couple was doing a late night snack run after Kairi had decided that he was craving vanilla ice cream, licorice and cream soda.

Mattia, who would do anything for his baby, obliged to taking Kairi shopping for a few snacks.

Mattia turned into the aisle he thought Kairi ran into, but the boy wasn't there. Mattia sighed, going to the next aisle where Kairi was nowhere to be found.

The elder began to grow anxious. He didn't like them being separated for too long. Especially in public.

"Kairi?" Mattia called out. He didn't care how loud he was being, it was 12 am and the store was practically empty.

He heard no response, making him get even more worried.

Mattia checked every aisle, finally arriving to the ice cream section.

"Took you long enough. I thought you gave up on me." Kairi said, pouting as Mattia approached him.

The man immediately wrapped his arms around the smaller, bringing him into a hug.

"Don't do that again. I hate not knowing where you are." Mattia mumbled, kissing the top of Kairi's head.

The younger could tell just how much his stunt had affected his boyfriend and immediately felt guilty.

"I'm sorry. I won't run off again."
