Professor Em gave instructions to Kyle, two days before the activity. They planned how to work the task. Together with some participating staff, It was a proper orientation, and everything seems to be ready.
"Call me if you need help." Professor Em said.
"Thanks, professor." Kyle greeted.
The day of the activity came. Just like a typical day, students talked about their experiences and the hottest topics of the day.
"Students from the Department of Physics and Department of Mathematics, please proceed to the Research building." There was an announcement.
The participating departments went to the Research building, where laboratories located.
Kyle is in charge of students' laboratory gowns, goggles, masks, and gloves. He distributed it one by one.
"I felt pity for you for not participating in the activity." Michael joked. "Is that your punishment after you punched me? Aw, that's too lame."
"Enough," Kyle warned.
"For you, loser," Michael said.
Kyle did distribute the equipment to his department. Now, he started to distribute it to the other department.
Everything went well until Ren came to the scene.
"Hey, you there, leaf man!" Ren commanded.
"I have my name. My name is Kyle," Kyle responded.
"Whatever, all I can do is to warn you. All of you scholars might kick out by the next semester." Ren smirked.
"We knew, Mr. Smith will do anything for us. Just please participate in the activity." Kyle replied.
"What a shame." Ren murmured.
After Kyle did his tasks, he only observed his classmates doing the activity.
Kyle was near to Ren's table, wherein he can hear their conversation without trying.
"Hey, Ren, who is that girl you are going out with?" One of Ren's groupmates asked.
"She is Ann, from the College of Arts. She is taking journalism. She is smoking hot, isn't it?"
Ren replied.
Kyle lost focus on the activity. He knew Liam was into Ann. Even he always denied the fact.
"I'm planning a public confession next month, would you guys help me?" Ren said.
"Of course! We will do anything to please you." His groupmate joked.
The activity took about 4 hours to complete. It was long but succeeded as planned.
"Everyone, please pass your evaluation papers to the front." Professor Em announced.
Everyone gathered the papers and passed them to the professor. Soon after, the professor announced something.
"Okay, students, all eyes and ears on me." Professor Em said. "Please bear in mind that this activity is useful for our next activity."
"Next activity?"
"There's more?"
"This is so tiring."
It looked like Professor Em is about to announce the convention to be held at Han City.
"Okay, class, the activity is connected to the Grand Physics convention to be held at Han City. Scientists all around the world gathered to share ideas. Students who are studying at Helmore University are the lucky ones." Professor Em said.
