Chapter 6: Han Headquarters

"Argh, I don't feel so good." Kyle murmured while lying down on his bed.

He already woke up when his phone's alarm rang. He didn't have the urge to get up and prepare. While lying down on his bed, he received a text message.

"Where are you now? You got to be late for the trip." - Professor Em.

"Coming." - Kyle.

Kyle had no other choice but to go on with the task. He is experiencing a slight hangover, but he also didn't want to disappoint Professor Em.

Kyle finished preparing, and he is good to go. As he went out of his room, he saw his friends helping Liam to get over with his hangover.

"Eat this soup," Ann said. "It can help you."

"Thanks," Liam said.

The guys eavesdropped to their conversation.

"Ann is here?" Kyle whispered.

"Yeah, she immediately came after she knew what happened to Liam," Josh said.

"Where are you going?" Kurt asked Kyle quietly.

"Professor Em tasked me to go somewhere," Kyle replied.

"Hey! Where did you guys went last night? Look what you guys have done." Ann angrily said.

"We're sorry, we just helped Liam to overcome something," Kent said.

"Really? At the bar?" Ann said. "You might get troubled."

"Okay, we're not doing it again," Kent said.

"Hey, don't get angry at me," Liam said.

"Can't I?" Ann said furiously. "You knew it was too dangerous. Promise me not to return there."

"Uhh, we already applied for a part-time there," Liam said, lowering his head to avoid Ann's eye contact.

Ann argued with Liam. The boys went out of the scene.

"Love Quarrel," Kurt joked.

"I guess Ann is also interested in Liam." Kent assumed.

"I guess I should go now," Kyle said.

"Help yourself first," Josh said, giving Kyle some soup.

"Sorry, I should go now real quick," Kyle said.

Kyle went to the location Professor Em told him.

"Kyle, there you are!" Professor Em greeted. "Get in the van, now.!"

Kyle immediately went inside. Seat belts fastened, and they are ready to go.

"Are you familiar with Han City, Kyle?" Professor Em asked.

"Not really, I kinda knew some places, but not the city as a whole," Kyle replied.

It's a 20 minutes ride going to Han Headquarters.

The Han Headquarters is the tallest skyscraper in the city. That is why it grabs the spotlight for the whole place in the city.

"I'm going to accompany you for an hour. I'll let you meet with the secretary. She will be the one who will assist you here. After you guys are good, I should return to the university immediately. I have check something." Professor Em said.

Kyle and Professor Em went inside the headquarters. They were asked by the reception to stay in the lobby. Ten minutes later, A man in his 50's went inside the headquarter. Everyone in the area bowed as a sign of respect. Kyle remained standing, didn't know what is going on. He had been being noticed by the man in the 50's and gave Kyle a look.
