Justin POV

"Your son choked my beta." Alpha Ross said sitting across from my father.

"Yes, and although what was an unfortunate turn of events, at least your betas wife found her mate." My dad laughs.

I look at Beta Isaiah and he doesn't seem to find the circumstances as funny. "We've been married for the passed three years." He growls. "Then your son comes out of nowhere and steals her from me."

"In our defense you clearly weren't meant for each other if the Goddess aligned the two of them." My dad says being a total dick.

Isaiah growls, I know he's hurting. They've been married for three years, and they were college sweet hearts. I'm pissed because now Westlee has his mate, the sooner he learns shit the more of a chance he has at stealing my title.

"Now she's just with a fucking lunatic, like who the fuck acts like that when he finds his mate. The dude literally banged his head against a brick wall and then walked over to me with blood coming down his face before attempting to kill me!" Isaiah yelled. "This is some fucking bullshit at its finest." He growled.

"He's not a lunatic, he only found out he was a werewolf about a week or two ago." My dad says.

"Pardon?" Russ asks.

"Well his mother and I had him when we were pretty young. When her parents found out she was pregnant they moved packs and I didn't know they put him up for adoption, I was told she had a abortion. But a witch told me I needed to break this guy outta prison and that he was my son." Dad explained.

"So your boy is a psychopath with abandonment issues?" Isaiah argued. "He doesn't know shit about shit! I could kick his ass!"

"Calm down." Russ instructed. "These things happen. I'm sorry it happened to you, but you weren't the first and you won't be last." He said trying to ease Isaiahs rage.

Isaiah exhales heavily before crossing his arms and throwing his self back in his chair. I know this sucks for him, but Russ was right these things happen. Poorly timed and completely unfair and not just in his situation.

"May we start this meeting?" Dad asked trying to break the tension.

"Of course." Russ answered.

They began to go over their ally agreements. Seeing there were places that may need to be updated or added, security things, financial resources along with other important things. My most interest was gained when dad began talking about new equipment for the training rooms and a renovation to making it bigger. Of course we'd have to knock down a few rooms, and I know the occupants won't mind relocating for better training. It was interesting seeing my father like this, smart. Living with the man it sometimes doesn't register that he is in fact alpha and he does have to know shit to be a good one.

Isaiah was barely participating, he was still distracted and even mentioned a couple times that an arrangement that could be made should be to break the alliance. I'm sure one time Russ considered hitting him when he growled and told him to shut up. Isaiah reminded me of Jason when he had one of his little temper tantrums. I get that this situation is deeper than that but he handling it so poorly that my self esteem has gone up.

Russ did have some terms and conditions he wanted to go over, but dad agreed to four out of ten of them, and made some good points as to why that would only benefit them instead of both sides. Russ wasn't going to fight him on that, he took a shot and missed, he accepted that right off the bat.

Russ concluded the meeting, dad offered for them to stick around for a while which Russ responded that he'd be happy too, but a slight growl from Isaiahs hurt feelings indicated that they should probably get going.
